The accommodations are beautiful, with new appliances, everything was very clean, fridge was good size to hold groceries, beds were super comfortable, deck to view the water was wonderful, hosts were friendly and available if we had any questions. Good directions to the accommodations, really beautiful place, wonderful experience and easy to reach off ring road.

This was the best place we stayed at during our trip around the ring road. The property was clean and modern and check in was easy. The cottages are located on a hill and they are spaced out far enough apart where you don't feel like you are near anyone. There are also large windows in the kitchen/dining area so you could watch the aurora borealis from indoors on a clear night. Bathrobe and slippers are provided which we used when running from the cottage to the hot pot. Also loved the soley bath products. Such a luxurious stay!

Ubytovanie Björkin – Cozy Cabin with excellent view sa nachádza v destinácii Akureyri 30 km od miesta Vodopád Godafoss. everything! I love everything inside this cabin. room is so beautiful decorated, have washing machine and very good living size. the view is fantastic and very close to city. honestly I really don’t want to leave. is one of the best cabin in the whole Iceland trip!

The house is beautiful inside and out and has absolutely everything you might need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Heiodis met us on arrival and showed us everything in the house. We had a great stay here, cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, barbecuing, enjoying the hot tub and sleeping very well.

The best place on our trip around Iceland. The house is very cute, it has everything you need even for a longer stay, everything was spotless clean and I wish we could stay here for a few more days.

The connection with the host was very good. We got a lot of instructions - how to get to the place, how to get the keys. The cabins are in a beautiful river valley, view from the windows is amazing. Cottage is located in the remote place, it take time to get to the Cabin. But the place is just wonderful! Modern, new, with all equipment you need and you don't need. Comfortable beds, good pillows, good Wi Fi, hot water, comfortable bathroom, BBQ, even first aid kit. Exceptionally clean! Blackout blinds really good for Icelandic summer, it was first night in the Iceland that I could sleep,

We were lucky to spend two nights at Ytri Vik cottage, in a chalet of our own. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with scenery so sublime that it shall remain the highlight of our memory of Iceland - snow covered mountains, the Eyjafjörðu fjord, and sapphire sea waters. Our one bedroom chalet, 'Sel', was nestled right at the back of a row of six similar chalets, and featured all creature comforts including a fully equipped kitchen, hot plates, fridge, a BBQ, Excellent Wifi, TV with netflix and amazon prime and, (our favourite), a steaming geothermal hot tub on the front balcony which was perfect for taking in the majestic view at sunset. The hot tub was filled and ready for us on arrival, and remained at a perfect temperature for the duration of our stay. Our bed comprised of two single beds joined together, and was comfortably kitted out with soft bedding. The bathroom was spacious, and the living area had a cosy sofa with candles, and throw blankets, which created a dreamy and romantic ambience. Ytri Vik cottages was the place that we were able to completely unwind and let our experience of Iceland's raw beauty sink in. We were very happy with our stay, and look forward to coming back when we visit Iceland again.
