This holiday home has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with an oven and a microwave, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and 1 bathroom fitted with a shower. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. The property has an outdoor dining area. This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

It was a very cozy and clean place to stay, and the host was incredibly friendly. They even allowed me to check in earlier and check out later.

The holiday home also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Our unit was super clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. We liked the option of being able to take our dog, we decided not to this time though. Was thoughtful to have some drinks, chocolates, milk and biscuits ready for our arrival as well as some fresh eggs in the fridge. Having the use of the free washing machine and drier was fab.

Quiet and peaceful environment away from the town centre yet conveniently near enough. Tracey and Colin are superb hosts, made us feel right at home, giving us useful tips on things to do and see. Wonderful to interact with their resident pets - dogs, chickens and horses. Highly recommended!!
