I couldn't be happier with my choice to stay here. The room was a little small, but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very large. The location is very convenient for a first-time tourist and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I was able to check in super early, while the breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices and I didn't bored after several days. Great price for all this.

FAQs about hotels in Stockholm

A Natural Beauty

Modern Stockholm is uniquely made up of 30% waterways and another 30% of parks and green spaces. It’s spread across 14 islands and is both one of the world’s cleanest and most charming capitals.

Stockholm’s famously huge number of museums includes the Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, the Moderna Museet and the Spritmuseum. City Hall hosts the famous Nobel Prize banquet and the Vasamuseet hosts the 300 year old Vasa warship.

The city’s past can be felt in Gamla Stan – Stockholm’s stunning Old Town with medieval layout, cobblestone streets and the Baroque-style Royal Palace. Designer Swedish clothes and interior decorations abound in the many unique stores throughout the city.

For a day away, ferries reveal the stunning Stockholm archipelago, a group of thousands of islands and rocks where you can enjoy hiking, outdoor swimming and fishing.

Whether you fly to Arlanda, Bromma, Skavsta or Västerås Airports, the city centre can be reached by either train or airport coach. Booking.com offers a wide choice of accommodations for your Stockholm holiday, from modern hotels, to unique botels and affordable hostels.

Great place for a beer.

Great place for a beer. Port is a nice area Good vegan offerings. Nice and chilled. There's a big pedestrian area going away from the palace that takes you back to where the hotel is and the railway station. The port and nearby park are really nice.

Stockholm is overall a wonderful experience; we spent 5 weeks in total; it is a fantastic city to discover, nature and water is everywhere. This makes sightseeing incredible… It is a city where you have something to discover all the time, and I don't just mean the central area that tourists who stay for 1-2 days usually visit. Public transportation is extremely practical and you can easily get to incredibly beautiful places, if you like to deepen your visits to a city and get to know the urban culture in depth. And we weren't bored at all... there are still a lot to explore :-)

Vasa Museum was amazing - really a must see!

Vasa Museum was amazing - really a must see! ABBA Museum was ok but not as much funs as I thought but hey ho! Old Town was beautiful, lots to see, lots of shops eateries etc; Everyone seemed so friendly where ever we went. Green spaces were beautiful. Skansen was really good and I can imagine in the summer would have been even better with people in traditional dress etc; If you lie running we did Haga Parkrun - really good and really friendly - lovely park!! Easy to walk everywhere. We must have walked about 10 miles each day and that was just around Stockholm moving from one area to another. There are plenty of buses and trams if walking is not easy. Riding bikes and eScooters looked pretty dangerous to me but perhaps for others it would be fun. The boat trips are great - we did the one to Vaxholm - midday to 6pm but there are shorter trips and longer trips. You can swim and kayak in many places - there is something for everyone. food: We ate a BAP a couple of times - great burgers and I am not a burger person. Tried Swedish Meatballs at a random restaurant in the Old Town - very nice, also ate at the restaurants by the food hall. Basically, something for everyone.

Stockholm is beautiful and very user friendly with excellent transport links to pretty much everywhere in the city. Lots to see and do, safe and friendly. It is expensive to eat and drink out (London prices are similar) and its mostly cashless. Recommend getting the SL app (public transport) and we got a 7 day pass for £35 which was excellent value - you will really use it so much, trains, buses, trams and even the water buses are included. Lots of cyclists with cycle lanes, bikes and scooters to hire. Surrounded by nature and very clean, I would absolutely recommend a city break and will be returning in December. Loads of walking so good footwear is essential. Please note that passport control is a joke and takes absolutely ages both entering and leaving, so make sure you give yourself extra time.

Overall, Stockholm was a wonderful destination for our family of five. We felt that the number of days we spent there was just right, giving us enough time to explore the city without feeling too rushed. Getting around Stockholm was very easy, thanks to the superb public transport system. We purchased 7-day SL tickets and made full use of them, travelling by trains, buses, and boats throughout our stay. It was convenient, reliable, and made exploring different parts of the city much easier. One of our highlights was the 1-hour boat trip from Klara to Topstrom, which was a relaxing and enjoyable way to see Stockholm from a different perspective. Overall, Stockholm is a beautiful, family-friendly city with excellent public transport, plenty to explore, and a great balance of sightseeing and relaxation. We really enjoyed our time there!

Very comfortable beds, room & bathroom spotlessly clean, best breakfast buffet I've ever had in a hotel, most excellent location right on Gamla Stan so wherever you're off to you get to wander through the pretty medieval streets first. Unless you're off to the museums at Djürgarden, in which case the ferry terminal is right in front of the door 👌 All staff, and especially room staff, were super friendly (and obviously did an awesome job). Would absolutely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to come back to Stockholm!

In the heart of the town center, close to everything. The train station is literally in the same building. Very good value for the money, especially for Stockholm. A lovely coffee shop on the ground floor with one of the best coffees in town. The hotel is on a vibrant and very busy road and area, but the room is very quiet. We had a lovely night's sleep. And last but not least, we had the most amazing view facing the busy roads. It really somehow reminded us of a New York view.
