This is a great hotel, especially for the price in Baghdad where clean and good hotels tend to be pretty expensive. Staff were extremely helpful and kind, location is excellent, clean rooms and a nice free breakfast at the top floor restaurant which has a lovely view of the river.

The owner goes above and beyond, recommending excellent taxi companies and must-see destinations like Ur and Babylon. We booked a double room overlooking the pool. We had a patio and also overlooked the Tigris river. It was so serene. Staff were very nice. Many spoke English. Full breakfast, heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room were nice discoveries. We felt very safe and the front guards were very helpful with tips and securing taxis. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.
