Exceptional service and facilities. Breakfast was delivered to our room. We chose the time and what we wanted the day before. It was so nice to eat it at our own kitchen table. It made us feel at home. Our room was a small apartment with kitchen facilities though we didn't use it as we were visiting family. Bed was very comfortable. The shower was super with 4 different settings.

The moment we entered the gates, it felt like we were in heaven. The road was a bit bumpy but don't get scared, it's very manageable and not dangerous. It's max 3 minutes on a, slightly bad road but then you see the place and fall in love. The host is a nice women, sometimes she seemed a bit tired, but she still tried to make us feel welcomed. We could eat nuts from her tree and my wife was very happy. She gave us an amazing breakfast, she even gave us scrambled eggs because she saw that were we not a huge fans of sweets in the morning. Really nice eggs, from the chicken she has at the farm. The food is tasty and nice, we liked it very much. The area is quiet and calm. You can have a walk inside the farm and look at the trees and the hills nearby. We felt like kids, sitting on the fence of the farm, enjoying the stars and the silence. The room was very clean, and big, we liked it. The bathroom is huge and extremely clean. Everything is clean and nice. My wife loved learning some italian, and the host was happy to teach us some words. We mostly communicated with google translate but that was easy. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at La Casa di Matilde was great. Despite our late arrival, the host showed us nothing but kindness and patience. The place was clean, with new and well-maintained furnishings. The daily room cleaning added to our comfort throughout our stay. The free parking, conveniently located just a few feet from the main door, was a delightful surprise—something that is not commonly found in Italy.
