Apartment is a walk away from the airport so it was a great choice as we arrived late, we left for our destination in the morning without stress. It had everything you need for a short stay and the check-in was easy.

The hotel is located close to the airport, easy to reach on foot, clean, calm, clear recommendations on how to get there and open. Thank you for the snacks and coffee, on the 1st floor there is a common large dining room-kitchen, veranda.

I have stayed in many airport hotels but this is better than any of them. Jennifer has furnished the room (Room 2) very thoughtfully, and there is everything you could possibly need. Excellent breakfast goodies too. Also the perfect location to be near the airport (seven minutes from the car rental pick-up/drop-off.)

The breakfast was a packet croissant. It would have been nice to have had mugs in the kitchen to make a cup of tea. The room was very clean. The lady/ cleaner was lovely

Location was great, 10 minutes walk from the airport. We needed an iron and the host was able to bring us one the morning before we checked out, very friendly and responsive.

Catania was a very nice town.
Catania was a very nice town. I would recommend a visit to the city center and to Mt. Etna. Our favorite restaurant was Savia on Etna and Umberto.
We walked to get around the city and it was easy to do so.

Its a nice calm area close to Catania.
Its a nice calm area close to Catania. Its much cleaner than other towns or Catania itself. Usually the garbage is lying around everywhere next to the roads, highways etc. but in Misterbianco it seemed a bit better.
When you drive towards Misterbianco you would think that it will be as trashy as the surrounding areas but thank god no. There are couple of pizzerias and bars at a very affordable price.

This is a small town on the way to Mt Etna.
This is a small town on the way to Mt Etna. We stayed here and were pleasantly surprised to find so many culinary gems!!! There are at least two exquisite cafes serving Sicilian delights that were top notch. There is also a fantastic sushi restaurant and seafood restaurant. We had local friends as a guide so they really showed us around to the best kept secrets of the area!! We can’t wait to visit again!

Host were lovely, location wasn't great for finding something to eat. Room was located in basement, lacking some modern facilities, cooker used bottled gas. Room was large and you could see that it could sleep 4 or more people, with at least 3 sofa beds in place as well as the double bed.

Aci Castello is fine for a brief few-hour visit to see the historic castle, but I highly recommend staying elsewhere. The area feels quite isolated and far from everything you might need. We found the local amenities severely lacking, with a very limited number of cafes and shops. If you enjoy walking, you will likely be disappointed; there is zero nature, and the main promenade is heavily congested with traffic rather than being pedestrian-friendly. Overall, it lacks a comfortable, livable atmosphere, and there just isn't much to do or see beyond the main landmark

Breakfasts at Pasticceria Dolce Trinacria were amazing, the Coop at the Parco Commerciale Le Zagare is very large with in-store bakery. Lidl's also pretty good. Walking is OK, but one or two roads don't have paths, so care is needed.

We loved living like locals in this quaint town.
We loved living like locals in this quaint town. People there are very nice. We were lucky to be there for the San Giovanni festival, which was nice. We went for a wedding so we were with friends and family each day. Our friend was able to take us on little day trips. If we were just to stay in Acitrezza, then you don’t need that much time.
The food was good at the restaurants, but I wasn’t blown away. All of the restaurants have very similar menus. Coffee and cappuccinos and pizzas were excellent! Beaches are very rocky so I suggest going to one of the beach clubs for the day.

I love the Duomo Piazza, especially at night when there are often street performers and many great restaurants.
I liked the Bellini musuem and park. I liked wandering the streets.
I preferred it to Palermo as it was more compact.
Tip: We wanted to go to Mt Etna from Catania without lots of treking. The guy at the info Point in Catania organised a driver for us. He took us to the cable car and organised a ticket for us. That ticket got us automatic entrance to the four-wheel drive bus and a guide for a 40 min walk near to the top and back. It was a wonderful experience. I hadn't managed to find that option online before we left.

Beautiful Sicilian town experience.
Beautiful Sicilian town experience. Views of Mount Etna and the lowlands are great from the city. The classic churches are not to be missed. The parking situation on the street is scary and the roads need improvement. Not a place to have an SUV.
