Fantastic gardens, clean, functional old buildings. The staff was super, specially the young man in the reception. Beautifully renovated bathroom. Absolutely loved the birds that call at all hours.

Hôtel de la Marine features views of Carteret Port. It is just 10 metres from pier and offers a panoramic terrace. Free Wifi is provided throughout. La Marine is built to look like an ocean liner from outside & the theme is carried on inside. It’s incredibly comfortable. The rooms are sumptuous & the amenities are outstanding. Towelling robes and slippers are provided, as are wonderfully-smelling shampoo, shower gel and lotion. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. The staff are outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a warm smile and a kind word. Exceptional service. There is limited free parking outside the hotel but only 5 or 6 spaces. For 15€ a day they have secure parking in a nearby garage but spaces are limited there too.

There is everything your heart desires: - Very cosy bed - Starlink Internet - Digital radio - Hob - Television with Netflix and Prime Video - Coffee machine - A parking heater But especially a coffee in the morning outside on the boat with a view of the surroundings. I would have liked to spend a few days there.
