We had a wonderful time in Tailana! The island is paradisiac and it's easy to snorkel around it because there's almost no water current. Also, you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you feel comfortable wearing here. The facilities are beautiful and a great compromise between comfort and adventure. Beds are great, the bungalow was clean and spacious, the mosquito net is probably the best one we've encountered in our trip so far, toilets were always clean, and we really enjoyed the open-air coconut shower. The manager Thomas and his helper Lukas are very friendly people, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also loved the food. Edo is such a talented cook, and he didn't mind us watching every step of the preparation of our meals and asking him lots of questions. We would definitely come back to this place because the whole experience was beautiful.

Hotel Deli River is located in Medan City, surrounded by tropical greenery and natural landscapes. Overlooking the Sumatran Jungle, it offers free Wi-Fi access. Wonderful stay, run by a very nice family with great staff. Really makes you feel at home, very quiet and relaxing get away in a natural setting. Highly recommend and don't forget to try some day tours! I had a great time on all the tours I tried as well, great drivers and guides. I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler here and enjoyed the delicious food in the restaurant too. Looking forward to my next stay. :)

Grand City Hall Hotel & Serviced Residences is situated in the heart of Medan. It is next door to the Bank Indonesia Complex. Comfortable room, with all you could need. I appreciate the most the possibility to control the AC. Great breakfast. The hotel is at a small distance from the railway station for the train to the airport.

If you want to stay in a place with local people and have good memories with them, this is the one! Yusuf and his family are really friendly and they are always available to help you with what you need. I spend also some time with the kids from his foundation (kolibri house) and it was really nice to meet and be with them :) Thank you for all your kindness!

We loved everything about our stay. The bungalow is much better than in the pictures. Super cozy and comfy. They also have a great terrace facing the sea. Dolin and his family are also very kind and friendly and make you feel very welcomed. We loved everything about the guest house and would surely be staying here again!
