Everything was great. - The location is close to the harbor; - They arranged the transfer from the Airport and to the ferry; - They had a bike to rent for us; - They did our laundry at the same day; - We could use their fridge to store food. The staff was really helpful and friendly. A great choice for a night in Padang.

White sand beach with crystal clear, warm waters housing schools of fish and coral for snorkeling at the shoreline. I loved the homecooked meals - local foods, fish and taste. They created a special lobster candlelight dinner on sunset beach for Father's Day, played games/soccer with the kids, homemade stone oven pizza one night, movie night on the beach, a trip to explore a hidden jungle cave (magical!), learning tour of a local clinic and village tour ending in karaoke. Very few mosquitos. +Wifi- good. We were able to fully unplug & extended our stay to 5 nights.

Beautiful and memorable resort and swimming pool water is almost like fresh water with no chlorine. Bed is comfortable. We dine at Hara for breakfast, dinner and the foods are delicious. Walk a bit further to the snorkelling spots and you can hand feed the endangered bird species. Snorkelling spots are frequented by lots of beautiful reef fishes and baby sharks.

Berlokasi di Bukit Lawang, GRANDMA GUEST HOUSE including jungle Trek menawarkan teras, WiFi gratis, layanan kamar, dan resepsionis 24 jam. Homestay ini juga mempunyai restoran. I had a wonderful stay at Grandma guesthouse. Stayed for 3 nights, went on a multi day trek and then returned for one more night. My return felt like coming home. Yusuf and his family are very warm and welcoming, and will go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Organising the trekking and onward travel with Yusuf was super easy and very well organised. He also has a school for underprivileged children, which I went to visit and helped to teach English and played badminton with them. The girls also practise traditional dancing in the Warung connected to the guesthouse (which serves really cheap and tasty local food), so by staying here you will experience more than just the jungle, but also get an insight into the local community. A great experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you Yusuf and family!
