We had a wonderful time in Tailana! The island is paradisiac and it's easy to snorkel around it because there's almost no water current. Also, you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you feel comfortable wearing here. The facilities are beautiful and a great compromise between comfort and adventure. Beds are great, the bungalow was clean and spacious, the mosquito net is probably the best one we've encountered in our trip so far, toilets were always clean, and we really enjoyed the open-air coconut shower. The manager Thomas and his helper Lukas are very friendly people, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also loved the food. Edo is such a talented cook, and he didn't mind us watching every step of the preparation of our meals and asking him lots of questions. We would definitely come back to this place because the whole experience was beautiful.

EVERYTHING was beyond expectation!!! the location, the staff, receptionist, the room apartment, the cleaning, room service (super affordable), the breakfast was amazing! the gym is 10/10, the hot bath, cold bath, sauna and steam room 10/10 in a 5 star hotel. and the Massage with 30%discount in a 5 star hotel was blooooody amazing and affordable!!!!!! the level of professionalism was unreal. also you can book a smokers room which is so awesome! i loved my time here! Walk a bit further to the snorkelling spots and you can hand feed the endangered bird species. Snorkelling spots are frequented by lots of beautiful reef fishes and baby sharks.

I had a wonderful stay at Grandma guesthouse. Stayed for 3 nights, went on a multi day trek and then returned for one more night. My return felt like coming home. Yusuf and his family are very warm and welcoming, and will go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Organising the trekking and onward travel with Yusuf was super easy and very well organised. He also has a school for underprivileged children, which I went to visit and helped to teach English and played badminton with them. The girls also practise traditional dancing in the Warung connected to the guesthouse (which serves really cheap and tasty local food), so by staying here you will experience more than just the jungle, but also get an insight into the local community. A great experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you Yusuf and family!
