We had a widespread of food each morning at the breakfast hall, buffet style catering to western and Indonesia tastes with slight changes in the menu from day to day. The team at the breakfast hall went out of the way to put together double shot lattes with latte art, special menu items and also surprised us with a really delicious Soto Betawi! We arrived on a wednesday night and the resort was relatively quiet but it started to fill up with more guests towards the weekend. Despite so, all the service crew were extremely hospitable and none of them shy away from hosting my family and I, we appreciate the warmth and their efforts to go beyond!

The quality for the price is superbe and you will be served if you look for adventure and nature. An immersive experience avoiding touristic places thanks to this accommodation that I deeply recommend. People that you meet is a big important of your travel and Grandma Guesthouse was. The plus : Yusuf, the owner, brought me to visit a school that he created for the village named "Kolibri", and it was one of my best experience meeting these kids in there environment and I'm not sure that I would have done that if I was in a popular hostel. Thank you for this trip !
