Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. One of my favorite hotels in all five trips I've done to Iceland. The staff are helpful and friendly and the place is very warm and cozy. The view of the lake from the room is perfect for viewing the northern lights right from your bed!!! The breakfast and dinner are excellent.

Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. fantastic view from the rain peaceful place.

Jõevaatega Hjartarstaðir Guesthouse pakub terrassiga majutust umbes 37 km kaugusel Gufufossist. Hommikusöögiga majutusasutusel on privaatne sissepääs. Great stay overall, everything was fun and clean, parking really close to the room, nice and communicative host!

The two hosts were fantastic, they made us feel right at home! Upon check-in, the owner gave us a tour of the entire hotel and explained the story behind their business and their family. Had some lovely talks with both of them throughout our stay and I loved all the personal touches they added to the decor of the hotel. They were extremely accommodating and even let us put a few groceries in their fridge. We made our own dinner in the shared kitchen and enjoyed it on the outside terrace while watching the sunset behind the mountains. The surroundings were peaceful and offered the most beautiful views. We even watched a wild fox come and play with their dog!! The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with all of the equipment you need. Breakfast was superb, they offered a wide variety of meats, cheese, cereal, fruit and even fresh bread baked by the owner's wife. Our room was spacious, had a separate/private entrace, large bathroom and even included an extremely comfortable couch to relax on. Their service and hospitality was our favourite part. This was the best stay in all of Iceland, and we are so happy to have met the hosts!

Aia, ühise puhkeruumi, terrassi ja restoraniga hostel Tehúsið asub Egilsstadiris. Hengifoss on 34 km ja Gufufoss 24 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on suuskade hoiuruum ja baar. The common area, the kitchen and the comfortable bed and linens were amazing. As well as the affordable price during low season (we were the only ones in the hostel). The hostel was clean, functional and the staff friendly.

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. We were on the Iceland ring road trip. This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. Looked brand new in the room. Well appointed and clean.

Berjaya Hérað Hotel is situated in Egilsstadir, 5 km from Lagarfljot River. It offers a terrace bar and 24-hour room service. All rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and wooden floors. Väga hea ja suure valikuga hommikusöök, lihtsad ja puhtad toad. Toas puudus külmkapp ja konditsioneer. Personal oli väga meeldiv ja abivalmis. Vök kuumaveeallikad olid hotellist autoga 7 minutit.

Hotell Studlagil asub Skjöldólfsstaðiris. Selles kolmetärnihotellis on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, restoran ja baar. Hotellis on peretoad. Kõikides tubades on kirjutuslaud. I like the vintage style it has! The music so calm, the location saved us in the road.
