The surroundings are peaceful and the silence at night was wonderful, lovely decking by the lake for outside sitting, walking trails, good breakfast, lovely to see the interpretive centre being used so much. A former church, it still has a rather unusual "meeting room" feel to it (lots of tables, lots of chairs, even a piano), but it is also very spacious and that just means there are lots of options. The beds were comfortable, there is an internet-connected tv, and you can park immediately outside the door. The owner was very nice and helpful. We were just passing through, and picked it mainly because of location, but would have happily stayed a few more days.
