It's a suburb next to the airport. You can get your basic last minute shopping done and get petrol for your rental car before returning it. Interestingly, there is a surf sport place with artificial waves in case you want to do some surfing.

This is a lovely hotel located about a 12 minute drive from the Munich airport. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds. The restaurant next door is very convenient and serves delicious food. A grocery store is located across the street, less than a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely recommend.

Great place for a short stay being close to the airport. Amazing friendly helpful staff. Restaurant meals are fantastic - both dinner and the breakfast.. Location easy to get from the train and short bus ride. Very clean and well maintained.

The town is small and industrialized. There were few options close to the hotel for dining, although we were surprised with the American menu at the LookOut restaurant at the artificial wave generator at the SurfTown facility, within walking distance of the hotel.

Unfortunately we stayed new years night.
Unfortunately we stayed new years night. Nothing around the hotel was open and the staff said we could buy Cold Pizza. The shuttle service , which was one of the attractions was discontinued 1/1/26 the day we would have used it. While received an email telling me all the services I could upgrade the discontinuation of the shuttle service was not mentioned. D grade property. Z grade location. Look elsewhere

Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, friendly staff, very close to the airport. And they have an easy to reserve shuttle to get you to the airport that is more reasonably priced than the taxi we took to get us to the hotel. Beware the taxi drivers, by the way, who seem to feel that they can scam a tourist out of extra fare. (At least that was our experience.) We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast and really enjoyed our meals. Just bring cash, as they don’t take credit cards at the restaurant. The surrounding neighborhood is quaint residential and safe. My son and I enjoyed our morning walk and even found a lovely bakery about a km. away to buy croissants for our flight.
