For groceries and food, you can drive to Sevan town, which is about 15 minutes away; alternatively, the host can order food for you through a restaurant he works with and have it delivered. We initially booked for two nights, but the experience was so good that we extended for three more. The lake view is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The price was very reasonable as well. United StatesA fantastic choice. Sevan city was pleasant and exceeded my expectations. The hotel was exactly in the very middle of the city on the main street. The hotel has a brewery, and the beer was delicious. The owner is very nice, and you will be in very good hands with anything you need. The room was great, luxury even. They have a cafe also, so if you need food you don't have to go anywhere else. Would definitely recommend you stay here if staying in Sevan.

Cozy apartment in the center of Sevan. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay, the kitchen is fully equipped. Grocery stores, bakeries, banks are conveniently located nearby. It is not far from the lake - 30 minutes on foot.
Ideal for a two-person holiday. There is a comfortable third bed. In addition, there are two folding beds, which is also not bad.

The Writers House is an extraordinary place and extraordinary architecture. Its not a luxurious hotel, but a basic accomodation with great bonuses: the building in style of Soviet modernism, breathtaking views from both the rooms and the dining room, own path to the monastery and last but not least the lovely and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my stay, my room was renovated and clean and food was tasty. Thank You!

Beautiful stay!
We spent two magical days at lake Sevan, sorrounded by nature and ancient monasteries, and were lucky enough to discover this hidden gem for the night!
The accomodation is walking distance from Sevanavank monastery, strategically located on the peninsula which allows for beautiful sunset walks and close proximity to many bars and restaurants.
The host was lovely and ensured our stay was comfortable and smooth.
