We had a wonderful time staying at Adam’s place! He is an excellent host—helpful, understanding, and offers detailed and useful travel tips. His recommendations for local activities were spot on and really enhanced our experience. One of the highlights was when Adam brought us firewood, allowing us to enjoy a cozy fire outside while soaking in the beauty of the surrounding woods. It made for such a pleasant, memorable evening. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, offering both serenity and charm. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is peaceful, comfortable, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything we needed. The kids had an amazing time, especially with the adorable lambs on the farm—they were definitely the highlight of the trip! We spent a relaxing and memorable weekend here and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend this place to families, and we would love to come back again!

This was a Christmas Gift for me and my family. I have two twin girls almost 2 years old. We loved everything about our stay and the property. It is family friendly and yet doubles as a romantic getaway. It's close to everything and Chantel the host and her husband were fantastic. We loved that we could help with feeding the farm animals in the morning, the girls especially loved this. The beautiful house was sparkling clean, it has an amazing outlook and is close to many things, such as Wineries, Healesville Sanctuary and especially The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery to name only a few. The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery has amazing food and grounds and caters for all generations.

The hosts are friendly and approachable with ample food provided for breakfast.. There are also books and games for the children.. Liz even gave a tour around her farm and garden.. would definitely come back again..

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our tour of Victoria. Writing this just before we have to go home to the UK I can say without a doubt that Wombat Bend was the highlight. Sue and Bill have created a delightful oasis in the bush filled with an astounding array of wildlife. In particular the range of birds was out of this world. Their commitment to The Burrow shines out of everything they do. Sue was a great host who provided advice about places to go and lots of information about the wildlife. We'd thoroughly recommend staying here and would love to be able to return to this special place at some point.

Location was picturesque, with an outlook onto vineyard and plenty of natural light. My kids loved that they were able to use the commercial kitchen facilities to cook their pizzas. Thank you to the magnificent hosts!

The serenity of the cottage was beautiful, private and cosy. It was the cleanest of clean homes we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. You can tell the hosts have put a lot of love into it. It was just so peaceful and comfortable. We loved that a full breakfast was provided in the fridge for us to cook up. Fabulous choice of teas and coffee. The heated floors in the bathroom are sublime and the pot belly was already roaring when we arrived later than expected around 9pm. It was a fabulous stopover to our final destination in north Victoria - and just an hour's drive from Tullamarine airport. We also enjoyed the proximity of the cottage to the wine fields of the Yarra Valley. The Black Spur country is a must see too. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Tinne and Pieter
