Accommodation in Ypres

Our overnight stay was very comfortable, and refreshing for the next day's travels. We really appreciated the Last Post service in the town of Ypres, especially as we are Aussies for whom Belgium is very thankful. We did not realise the Australian soldiers' value to this small country.

Very good location right in the centre, tasty breakfast, nothing missing, room small but comfortable, everything needed is available. For the weekend a good solution, price adequate to the standard.

The room had an amazing view, was great value for money. The restaurant was superb in terms of food, service and appearance. The overall service by the team and the Manager was fantastic, and we would love to visit again.

We arrived late, and the owner was very kind and made us an evening meal, which was welcome after a 100 km cycle. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and we had a lovely relaxing stay. You must try the family local beer, which was very nice , and the views from the terrace are beautiful. So close to the Kemmelberg made for a fantastic stay.

Central location, clean comfortable rooms and nice common areas to relax. Thoughtfully decorated reflecting the regional history.

We travelled throughout Belgium and this was by far the best value for money with the added bonus of it being a lovely room with a shower plus a bath (which is rare) , a great included breakfast, friendly staff and fantastic location.

The room was lovely and comfortable, perfect place to rest and prepare for sight seeing. The host, Chesney, was personable and helpful.

Very friendly host and very clean

I loved the property. It has a unique design and it’s very well located (right in the center of the city). It’s well equipped, it has anything you need. It was spotless clean. The communication with the host was great! We even had some welcome drinks, which I found it to be very nice! 😊 Right across the street there is a bakery, and it opens at 6:30, so if you’re an early bird, you can find coffee and sandwiches and sweets. There is a coffee machine and coffee in the apartment as well (both regular coffee and decoff). It’s very close to other restaurants and sweets shops as well.

Great location. This was our fourth visit to Ypres but first time we have stayed so central. We found parking on the street outside at the end of each day which made having a car really easy. Very comfortable lounge area and bed. Dining room table was a great desk space. Plenty of reading materials, games and some DVDs. Hosts were very responsive whenever I messaged them. The apartment was warm and quiet. Easy instructions to access the property. Loved our (too) short stay.

Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, great selection of foods. The room was beautiful, beds and pillows very comfortable. Great location, able to walk everywhere. Will definitely come back.

It was beyond our expectations. Clean, modern, location exceptional. Own room and ensuite for 3 couples. Hosts were amazing and helpful. Beautiful warm and welcoming home. Just perfect.
