The chalet is in a beautiful, peaceful setting looking onto a lake and the countryside beyond. It’s beautifully decorated, very clean and has really good facilities for preparing and cooking food. The local towns have great supermarkets and bakeries.

The hosts were super friendly, the house was beautiful inside and out and we had a brilliant time. The house is perfectly located between Brugge and Ieper and has fantastic facilities.

The best breakfast ever - so many options, home made delicacies with perfect garden view..and the bed - memory foam experience, darkening shutters, huge bathroom with private inftasauna. When biz travelling again to the same location (or actually anywhere in radius of 100km), always staying at Chris’ Bergdal 66. 20/10 <3

We stayed here for one night during a weekend trip to visit the Bruges Christmas Markets, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The location was ideal as it was only a 20-minute drive from Bruges and incredibly convenient especially after driving in from London. There was parking right outside, and everything we needed was just a short walk away, including a lovely bakery and an Aldi for groceries. The apartment itself exceeded all expectations. It looked even better than the photos, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need: towels, tea and coffee, blankets, even board games. It felt cosy, welcoming, and genuinely cared for. But what truly made the stay exceptional were the hosts. They were some of the kindest and warmest people we’ve ever met. So helpful, so thoughtful, and always willing to assist. Their warmth gave us such a wonderful impression of the people of Bruges. We honestly cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. Highly recommend this place, we would love to return!

For us it was great experience. Thanks to very good people An&Frans, our trip to Belgium took place, and we will never forget the time spent in this area with these people. This place is the standard of B&B philosophy.

The hosts really thought of everything, there's really pretty much everything you need to live there for a few days. It's super clean and comfortable.

Family-run small hotel with brasserie. Staff were super friendly and professional. I overslept and missed breakfast by an hour. However, it was no problem for them to still prepare something hot for me. Room was comfortable with all mod cons. Slept like a log. Food in brasserie was good and reasonably priced. Hotel is central with a nearby public car park. The town is very small but has a pleasant and lively vibe (I was there 4 days before Christmas). I'd like to come back again in summer.
