Accommodation in Aarau

The location is great, but one should keep in mind that the hotel is located at a sketchy place since it is next to the train station, which lures marginal people occasionally. However, it did not affect the stay itself much, it was not noisy or anything. Plus, it should be noted that there is a church nearby, which has quite a cacophonous bell ringings during services. But again, I am listing this not as an issue of accommodation, but rather as something which should be relevant in a broad sense.

Great location just outside the old town centre. Comfortable, clean, made to feel welcome

The apartment was in perfect conditions, like brand new. Everything was super clean and nothing was missing. I definitely can recommend that place!

it is a apartment with nice view, it’s clean and comfortable

Very nice and modern apartment at a convenient location. The hosts arranged everything that are needed for a comfortable stay. Uncomplicated check-in and check-out, with a well arranged breakfast. Everything super!

The house itself is charming, with a cozy and rustic ambiance that instantly put me at ease. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the surrounding area. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was no trouble getting a restful night’s sleep. The décor was tasteful and well-maintained, blending modern comforts with a homely feel. The location is perfect—tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend and come back here myself.

The comfort and how nice the staff are!

Staff was extremely helpful, professional and nice. Free parking, very good location. Rooms are tidy, breakfast was fresh and delicious. Free coffee, water and fruits in the hall. We would stay there again.

+ Very well organized and competent family business + Extremely clean + Restaurant very popular and providing good Swiss food + Possibility to have breakfast on Sunday starting at 6:30

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Aarau , very nice and spacious room

Excellent Breakfast, nice comfortable rooms.

Location and the apartment it self

Lovely staff who went out of their way to be welcoming and professional. Spotless apartment within gorgeous setting.

It was so cool and quiet, even though it's close to the Train station.

Everything clean and proper! Easy and automatic! Highly recommended

The apartment was very spacious and nice. All the basics that you need. Good location. We came by car so everything was easy to get to. Closeby supermarkets, gas stations and the city of Aarau was easy to get to by car. Even if not visiting by car, there is public transport very near the hotel.

Everything was very good! Car parking, good clean room, tasty breakfast

Manager Judith was extremely responsive and accommodating to our requests. The restaurant setting was lovely and the staff professional and attentive. The hotel caters for dogs accompanying guests. Parking availability was excellent.

Very friendly and nice place to stay on. We will be back next time we travel to Switzerland.

Either Switzerland is to blame, but Ascott Hotel has the kindest people. I have been checking in outside the check-in hours, but nevertheless, I was met with a smile! In the mornings, during breakfast, personnel ask you for the coffee/tee preferences; they are extremely attentive all in all when it comes to minor requests. Much recommended!

it was clean, comfortable, very quiet, gorgeous location on the hillside with very beautiful views over the Aare valley. For me the spacious and safe private parking lot was very important. 15min walk along the river Aare to the City of Aarau, which is very beautiful. Our host Ms Koster was very friendly and supportive. We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer. I can only recommend this location and would book a again!

The breakfast was amazing and the Staff exceeded expectations to make everything perfect. The Cleanliness was also outstanding.

Everything was perfect! A clean hotel, English speaking staff, free parking, great breakfast and coffee
