My husband and I usually stay in moderately-priced hotels, but decided to treat ourselves to a little more upscale stay at the Hotel Volkshaus Basel for one night! Wow! I was not prepared for the luxury that awaited us! From the hallway coffee/water/chocolate station; to the gorgeous courtyard view; to the lovely accommodations with separate shower and toilet rooms; to the lavish breakfast the following morning - the Volkshaus did not disappoint! If I could rate the hotel above a 10, I would do so in a quick second! Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip!

Very chic and modern hotel! The gym was amazing with this wooden equipment, also the sauna was a perfect addition to relax and unwind. Room was quite and the bed was comfy! The working space with extra beverages included and a jazz music as a background was a very cool place to chill!

I liked everything!! The cleaning, the apartment in general and the treatment that the owner gave us. The location, only 15 minutes walk from the center and many public transport options, and the owner gave us some passes that allowed us to use public transport from Basel during our stay in the city, came great as we were able to go to the airport!! I recommend it 100%
