I came across the Hostel by accident in booking. com and i didn’t know what to expect but i left with such a wonderful experience . The place was magical like a fairytale with a wonderful view from the lake and the mountains , the words are not enough to describe it , one must see it itself. The location was very practical near the bus station which also takes you to the main station in case you want to go to the city ,i went there with my little brother , very kid friendly and the place its in such away arranget that welcomes every group age . As for the stuff also the best impression very kind and helpful in every moment and always giving tips and answering our questions and trying to be as helpful as possible. I can’t wait to go back again and enjoy the nature and the peaceful atmosphere. I totally recommend it 😇😇.

The accommodation was great all.facilities right on the lakeside watching the paddle boats coming and going really some thing else. The Chinese family were exceptional hosts and I even learned some Chinese words. The housekeeper Yanny I think.her name made.sure my room was stocked and in excellent order. They really went out their way to make me welcome. The location was one of the best on lake lucerne. I was impressed by their hospitality.

Good clean room, pleasant atmosphere around the hotel, good breakfast polite staff. Lake view room very much worth the money. Gersau is quiet to stay but the regular buses and ferries to other towns and cities is ideal

The location is absolutely fantastic! We were sitting outside by the lake until midnight! We stayed at the chalet, such a nice, romantic room. Just be aware that it is a wooden chalet, so you hear every step. The bathroom was in a lower floor, so, a longer walk at night. The kids stayed in a very big and modern 8-bed room and had a blast! We had a very nice dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We are already planning to make this a yearly get-together spot!!

Hotel is located in small town. All rooms are oriented on the beautiful lake, however in hot summer days and without air conditioner it became quite hot in the room. Only fan is available. Also there is a coffee machine, but no jettle. Restaurant is available in hotel. Actually there are two restaurants, but at the moment of stay, the menu was the same.

The view from this hotel is quite amazing. The room was decent size and beds were comfortable. It's an awesome experience to stay here and see how amazing it is to live in Switzerland on a house half-way up the side of a mountain.
