How friendly and professional are the people in the hotel.

The hôtel has a typical bavarian look and the people are very welcoming. Very nice location, at walking distance from the lake and not far from Starnberg and Tutzing (accessible by car (10min) or S-bahn which is 5min from the hôtel). Proximity with the S-bahn also allows a day-trip to Munich (c. 40min by train). The breakfast is hearty with bavarian and german staples. The restaurant in the evening serves really amazing food with bavarian classics that were absolutely wonderful (best Kartoffelsalat i ever had).

Really loved this hotel - we arrived late and were given lovely rooms in the courtyard which were cosy and warm. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was very good. Coffee was delicious.

All of the staff there were the friendliest we encountered in all of Europe. The food was terrific and we loved the quiet quaintness. We will book again anytime it is remotely convenient.

Simply amazing! Very new apartment, quiet with beautiful views from windows. Warm floors, spacious kitchen and comfortable beds. Beautiful forest is just 10 minutes walk from house

Cristina and René have created a haven of peace and comfort and are exquisite hosts. The apartment is well-equipped with high-quality and tasteful furnishings. The bed is supercomfy. What made our stay not just excellent but extraordinary was the exceptional care and thoughtfulness put into the space and a responsiveness by our hosts to our every need or request. Also, it was wonderful to have bicycles during our stay. It gave us the opportunity to explore the beautiful area of the Starnberger See, but also the villages in the rolling hills to the east of the lake. Cristina and René's place could not be recommended highly enough.

It is a beautiful and very comfortable apartment in a very quiet and peaceful location. There are lovely details everywhere you look, e.g. flowers, books, pictures, crystals, etc.
