The proprietor was especially welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Quiet setting in a residential area, which suited me fine. Secure parking for my bike in the garage. Perfect stop on my bike tour!

EVENTUALLY we liked most of it, but it was utter chaos when we arrived to check-in. Dozens of folk were milling around - some to stay, some to eat......even a wedding celebration. Check-in was at 5 pm and we were given our key and directed to our room....... the beds were stripped from previous occupants but the bedding was littered across the room - untidy and unclean. We were asked to give them fifteen minutes and we were delighted with the transformation. So in the end the room was very good - very spacious with a first-class ensuite.

Loved the beautiful location, all the facilities provided at the accommodation, and above all the hospitality from the host was remarkable. Loved our stay. Highly recommend coming here with the family or a group of friends.

Everything was great! The room was huge (comparing to the ones in hotels in Netherlands). We have stayed here 2 nights. The room was very clean, the bed was very confortable, the food was great, the hotel staff behave politely, they were all very nice! And the Haldern Pop Bar is right across the street <3 Thank you!

We have stayed here several times it's a great location in a small town just outside Rees. The accommodation is superb
On this occasion we had a room with a balcony, perfect on a hot day to get some air.
We had both breakfast and dinner which again were superb
Would recommend this hotel for good quality food and accommodation near the Rhein.
