Cal Rei was an unexpected delight.....very nicely designed and well furnished. Calm, soothing and with a great sense of space. The bedding, linens and towels were premium quality. We arrived after a long day's walking the Chemin des Bons Hommes. Caesar waited for us to arrive which was much appreciated. Visitors should note that it is on the outskirts of Bellver, maybe an easy 10-15 minute walk, which we completed.

Waking up to roosters, town clock and cows was pretty cool and seemed fitting. The renovations were exceptional. Édouard was attentive and very kind. Breakfast was terrific with local products. Kitchen was well-equipped and open to all to use. Lac des Bouillousos in France was spectacular and less than 90 minutes away. Dinner at Can Borrell was exceptional! The next night we had crèpes at the Village shop, which were equally wonderful. The shopkeep picked mint from his flower box for the mojito!!

The location was perfect. It is in a rural agricultural environment with amazing views. The staff is really helpful and the food is very good. Healthy and good ingredients. We will come back here. Really nice family that do a great job.
