The hotel 'manager' was a really friendly guy who went out of his way to help us and advise. The location is remote in a wonderful way with stunning wildlife and beautiful views. Really relaxed and quiet away from it all. No towns close I think the nearest one is about 16k away but that suited us fine. There's a little shop in the quaint little place. If you're looking for hustle and bustle its not for you if you want the feel of a remote Spanish hamlet it certainly is. We loved it.

All you need in one place! Hotel, restaurant and fuel station! Very good value for money and best place to stay if you are driving between Burgos and Zaragoza. The rooms are clean, the food is nice. At night you will have a menu del dia at 15,50 euros (starter, main, dessert, drink and bread). Easy and safe to park.

We had a great time at this hotel - the team is very kind and welcoming, the location perfect for a quiet, nature escape and the facilities excellent. Restaurant is also very much worth it. Highly recommended!

If the weather permits, sunrise is beautiful, seated on a little bench under an apple tree. At night, if on the ground floor, it's easy to leave the room to look at the multitude of stars. Magnificent. Room was nice. Breakfast bountiful. The homemade cake is very nice. We stayed a second night.

Sergio was such a nice and welcoming man. We checked in and went up to our room. The room was nice. Huge bed, pretty and renewed bathroom. There are no other restaurants in town except for the hotel's restaurant. Sergio also happened to be the waiter and the cook. There was also a girl we don't know the name off, but she also was very welcoming and friendly. Sergio explained the menu in his very best English, his accent made it sound even better. I would strongly recommend the red wine, the cream of vegetable soup with truffle, the tomato salad (simple can be so, so good) and the cod. But then it was time for desert. Homemade yoghurt with apple and homemade carameltoffee. Oh my. Best I've ever had. Thought I didn't really like yoghurt, but i could eat a kilo at once. We slept well in the comfortable bed. Thankfully they switched off the churchbells between 22.00 and 9.00 We showered in fancy shower with good water pressure. BREAKFAST! We had some good toast and great coffee. Of course there was Sergio. He gave us some wooden presents. Amazing. Thank you Sergio and girl, we had a great time.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We had evening meal which was delicious All the staff were very friendly towards despite our lack of Spanish. Upon entering our clean, spacious modern room the air con was not on/working so I opened the patio doors - which was a mistake as half a dozen flies came in! Fortunately we went to reception and they provided us with the air con remote control :-) If you’re looking for a tranquil location, lovely terrace area and great hosts, this is the place!

Magdalena was a welcoming host. Lovely home setting in a quiet rural small town. The location was good, however our travel route had changed so it ended up being out of the way for us.
