This was such a cool stay. The castle was three different stories. The entrance is through a big boulder with beautiful wrought iron. You walk up the stairs to the first bedroom, which feels as if it is in a cave but is still very airy and has a window. Then you continue to walk up, and it's a great big living area with comfortable couches, a big fireplace, a dining room, and a good-sized kitchen with a bathroom. The best part is there is a massive terrace. Then you continue up the spiral staircase to a large bedroom with multiple beds, a bathroom, and a beautiful terrace where you can see views in all directions. You can see Madrid From the Terrace, and behind you, you have striking, rugged mountains. I wish we would have been there for longer and had time to hike all the trails. We did get a chance to walk down to the small vineyard, taste some grapes, and just enjoy the surroundings.

Quiet and comfortable stop just off the highway when coming from the north of Spain. Safe parking, easy access for elderly guests, great aircon, and even some nice wines to enjoy. Ideal before flying out of Madrid airport.

Loved the room and the breakfast. The hosts were all so friendly and helpful. Everything was totally spotless. Sara De Ur was a perfect stop for us after an evening flight into Madrid. An easy 30 minute drive north of the city on our way to San Sebastian.
