LaosGreat staff at the Crown Inn - we have stayed here several times and always come back. The rooms are really nice, warm cosy and very comfortable. Good bright bathrooms, with nice amenities and reliable showers. good storage and seating spaces, and coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
Pub food is excellent, as are the dining areas - and always lovely dogs to talk to.

United KingdomA lovely week exploring and circular walks etc. The cottage was ideal for me in every way, good utilities and spacious for a small cottage. Unfussy too, I'm not keen on niknaks on every shelf or floor space...the owners have it spot on as far as I'm concerned...loved it!

Extras were included and not a lot of kitchen or cleaning equipment needed as it’s all provided. Plenty of walls and surrounding area information. AustraliaWe loved this spot, our favourite of our trip so far. The location is stunning, building is lovely and charming, staff were helpful, breakfast was great, rooms were clean, very comfortable, and nicely decorated and it’s right on one of the lakes. We also felt it was great value. We were accidentally high maintenance guests (international debit card didn’t work at first, I accidentally knocked my glass of wine over at dinner, had some wi fi problems in our friends room) but the woman who I’m guessing was the manager was very helpful and nothing seemed like too much trouble.

We were warmly welcomed at this traditional English style B&B. The rooms are delicately furnished and decorated. The breakfast variety was outstanding and the hosts were very kind and helpful. The setting in the countryside is very calm and peaceful with no disturbances at night. Good starting point for discovering the Coniston water area. We recommend to stay several nights to fully appreciate the accomodation and the area around. Thank you a lot!

The property was perfectly situated for everything and all the local amenities.
The accommodation itself was superb and very well provided in terms of kitchen and bathroom facilities and equipment, etc
All rooms were well presented tastefully decorated and fresh, a very contemporary feel to the decor.
Overall- Superb and certainly enhanced our stay.
Additionally, all house instructions and leaflets were concise, which helped unravel the mysteries of some of the appliances. Not familiar to us.

The location of Bluebird Lodge is exceptional. Proximity to Coniston water and the village of Coniston itself makes this the perfect location for both relaxation and practically.
Views from the windows are simply breathtaking.
The accommodation itself is perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay in Coniston.

We had a lovely stay at blue bird lodge. It was the perfect place to settle into as we visited Coniston for a mini walking holiday. The beds were super comfortable, the shower was great and the breakfast was a very relaxing experience. Additionally, we enjoyed the walk to and from the town when we went out in the evenings. Overall it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay, thank you.
