Beautiful property in a lovely setting.

Driving up to the hotel to check in just after sunset was magical. Our entire family of 9 spontaneously said “wow” in unison. The fairy lights, immaculate gardens and fabulous entrance was just the beginning. Seriously, if we could score 15 out of 10 we would. Every little detail was perfect from beautifully styled decor, elegant, spacious rooms and outstanding service. And the Furness Abbey ruins were only a 10minute walk through the property gardens. We were on a road trip to see castles and historical sites so this really took the whole experience to the next level. I can’t imagine we’ll be able to top this stay again in our travels.

Fantastic hosts - offering whiskey tasting even after we arrived quite late - a wealth of knowledge about the drink - sharing knowledge about the Lake District - taking care of every little detail that makes a stay worthwhile - thanks a lot.

location, restaurant and pub are excellent historical building with wood stairs is superb rooms are very nice especially the big ones my preferred hotel and restaurant in Barrow in Furness

The room was lovely, clean and warm. I met the owner who was nice. It was a short drive to Silecroft beach which was great for the dog and the cafe there serves nice breakfasts. There is a pub called King William lv inn (King Billy) food there was also nice

The cleanest place we have EVER stayed, absolutely spotless & the house was STUNNING!! Spacious, light & had all the touches to make our stay perfect. Especially loved the garden, which was safe for our dog & a little sun trap!!!! Can't rate highly enough 😃

had a wonderful stay at the caravan. It was spotlessly clean, had a great ambiance, and was set in a beautiful location. I had a lovely time with my family and created some truly memorable moments

The location was excellent, we had a lovely view of the ocean and it was very accessible by car. The holiday home is warm, cosy and well-equipped to meet needs. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, would definitely return again if I'm in the area.

We liked everything ❤️ comfortable sofa with lots of cushions, fantastic shower and absolutely equipped kitchen… everything what you can need and more, spare dogs bowls and towels, additional towels for us if we need it. Just like at home😍 lots of board games for children and families, soft carpet to even sit on it and walking barefoot. Hosts are absolutely fabulous, friendly and welcoming. Sue and Howard were our first hosts who welcomed us personally . They show us everything in and out. Just can’t recommend more… lovely place, lovely people, just perfect.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. From the start, communication was easy and straightforward. Love the personal touch of biscuits for dogs :)) and something for grown ups :) We brought some board games with us, but there was no need as there was plenty to choose from. Caravan everything that we needed, clean and comfortable. Netflix definitely helped during the evening. The outside area fenced off looks good and is perfect for the dogs owners :) we liked the greenery around us and the mountains view. Thank you very much:)

Absolutely gorgeous, so big and comfy. . Love walkin wardrobe and extra bathroom. Everything we could of needed . Lovely walks with our furry baby
