This place is bucket list material given the ancient 700 year old village in which it is located. Beautiful rennovation of the buildings and our 2 level suite was simply gorgeous. Perhaps the most comfortable, high quality mattress I have every experienced in any hotel ever!. Wonderful traditional 'bespoke' breakfast prepared by local ladies of the village and with personal introduction of the dishes served.

Salvia Hotel is in a great location to explore Areopoli and the surrounding villages. The hotel itself feels like a brand new construction but the aesthetic outside is gorgeous, making it fit right in with the location. The room we stayed in was beautiful, everything was so clean and worked very well. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING and the staff are incredibly helpful and kind.

Arriving the hotel from monemvasia we had a warm welcome and upgrade from hotel staff we liked the professional friendly atmosphere and feeling the staff gave us every moment during our stay. very very professionell and outstanding. it is a wonderful boutique hotel with beautiful views all over. breakfast under the olive trees is quite an experience to enjoy in the morning. we are happy to choose this hotel and we made a great experience thanxx again to everybody we met at the hotel eberhard and monika

We loved the place! Beautifull views over Itilo Bay and the mountains from the pool and the rooms. The owner has made a very nice path to go swimming in the amazing crystal clear water, just below the hotel, where also the locals came to enjoy time together. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. The area is not touristed, but very local - and we loved it. Tavernas, mountains, and even swimming with sea turtles nearby.
