Accommodation in Tabanan

I had a magnificent stay at De Moksha. I was in Bali for yoga and to see the island. Tabanan (De Moksha's neighborhood) offered a more authentic and safe stay. It was not crowded by tourists and the prices around were more reasonable than Changgu. The Resort offers around 4 yoga classes per day, you pay around $10 per class extra. (I think they also offer a yoga retreat, but I am not sure about what that includes.) I prefer to have the control of my time, so I've just booked the hotel, and then booked the classes I wanted to do separately without any issues whenever I wanted. The morning classes are given by Besral. By far, one of the best yoga teachers I've ever met in any country. I do yoga on and off, not too seriously, but I've tried hundreds of teachers in several countries to see different styles, different locations, different techniques. After my classes with Besral, I could feel a lot of improvement by the end of my stay. He is very good at showing, explaining, correcting. I appreciated it. Everybody else who worked at De Moksha also made my life easier. The place works as a one stop solution for all, and if you act with a positive attitude, you get good results. They use WhatsApp for easier communication and to avoid language barriers. That makes life easier as well. For breakfast, I recommend the dragon bowl.

Loved the beach view from my room. It was so beautiful in the evening sunset. Aside from that crazy intense thunder storm I endured, the morning sunrise was beautiful after. The service was also impeccable. Everyone is so nice. Would stay there again.

Lovely place with very good breakfast and nice views from the pool. Rooms look and feel nice and have everything you need to have a good stay.

From the service to the pillows to the surrounds.. it was like being in a fantasy land. Cannot wait to visit again asap.

I stayed here for only two nights, but the experience exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is placed in a beautiful natural environment with stunning views of the rice fields – a perfect place for rest, meditation, and peace. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, including the airport transfer. I’m truly grateful for such an authentic Bali experience and would love to come back one day! 🌿✨

The place is very quiet right in the corner of the balinese village area, you can stay for relax time & enjoy the natural forest view on the river side. The place also located nearby Tabanan center so it's easy to get anything around

excellent, very friendly staff, clean and well prepared facilities, good food, very quiet beach. The best space for taking rest. Have only 21 villas with private swimming pool, then it is very quiet. Beach is beautiful, but we can just play not swim because tide is very high (this beach is used for surfing). Food is out of my experience, spa room is so nice and message is very good. Will recommend to my friends.

New and comfortable. This villa has everything you could ask for to feel right at home. The pool was very refreshing and clean, as was the rest of the accommodation.Friendly and helpful staff. Just a short bike ride from shops, restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

We love all, good place in middle of nature is wonderfull, you can hear natural animals

Loved the place, the rooms were private and secluded, almost like having your own cabana with a flowers garden. There were 2 infinity pools, one great for families with kids, another one for adults (although not specifically labeled as such, that is how people were using them while we were there). Food at the restaurant was good, loved the bubur.

The staff were great and very helpful. The location is ideal if you want to get away from it all. The villas are top notch and comfortable beds and we enjoyed the pool area. We tried local dishes and enjoyed it very much. Ariana the owner was around and shared info on the wonderful initiatives they've implemented for the school in the village nearby. I had a full body massage with coconut oil, excellent therapist. Keen to go back and spend more time there..
