We highly recommend Villa Lokon! The villa is a beautiful place inspired by traditional Minahasa architecture. It is very spacious, with plenty of room inside and a huge garden outside. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and the view of Lokon Volcano is absolutely beautiful. You can even start a walk towards the volcano and crater directly from the villa. There is also a great game room where families or groups of friends can spend time together, relax and have fun. There is so much space that nobody has to fight for the best chair! But the best part of Villa Lokon is the hosts. They are full of positive energy, very helpful and genuinely do everything they can to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. Another big advantage is that they can help organise a local guide and a driver, which is extremely useful when you want to explore Tomohon and the surrounding area. They introduced us to Frangky, who helped us discover many wonderful places. Villa Lokon is a perfect base for exploring North Sulawesi, but it is also a place where you can simply slow down, enjoy nature and relax. We would definitely stay there again!
