S&B Dreams House is a place that truly stands out from the crowd. The exterior styling—designed to look like a cave carved into the rock—is fantastic and gives the place a unique, magical atmosphere. Why we loved it: The Hosts: The brothers who run the place are amazing. Baiju was incredibly helpful, recommending and arranging several fun activities for us during our stay. Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot. It’s literally just a few steps away from the center of Munnar, yet it feels like its own private world. The Food: The kitchen serves excellent meals; we were very impressed by the quality and flavor. The combination of the unique design, great hospitality, and perfect location makes this a 10/10 stay. We already know we want to come back!

The hut is situated in the most beautiful setting. You get to see the view right from bed and wake up and go to sleep to the sound of insects, trees and birds. The bathroom was also really awesome! Really good wifi, comfy beds, great food, breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately I got sick while travelling to the place, but Anurag and his family really took care in preparing the right food and taking care for the whole duration of the stay. My husband also enjoyed the food they prepared for him, it was delicious. They are the most caring hosts we have ever encountered. 10/10 recommend!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Maliyeckal Homestay in Munnar, and was blown away by the warmth and hospitality of the family who runs it. The whole family was so lovely, supper attentive, keen to help and make a great stay. The house itself is in a beautiful place in the middle of nature, one bus away from Munnar which is easy to take. The family suggests plenty of activities and help you plan transport, proide contacts for tours, etc. they even offer cooking classes, and the food they provide is simply delicious. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything I needed. As a woman solo traveler, felt super safe and taken care of by the family. This place has so much soul, so much that I extended my stay. wish that I will be back in there in the future.

We felt right at home. Silvy and her family run their homestay with a lot of passion and the food was always excellent. We could try so many homemade specialties from Kerala. Silvy is an excellent cook - we already miss the deliciouse food! We took a cooking classe to learn how to make porotha :) The hike with Babu incl. homemade breakfast on top was also a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by trees, flowers, cardamom fields, and the soothing sounds of birds that wake you gently in the morning. The food, lovingly prepared by the mother, was incredibly delicious. The staff were unbelievably attentive and welcoming. Abin and his mother are truly warm-hearted people, and the father is a real artist in the garden. The whole place feels like a little paradise. Practicing yoga early in the morning on the balcony, with birds singing and temple chants in the background, was a truly special experience. It is a hidden gem, close to the beautiful Letchmi tea plantations. Our trip to Anakulam to see wild elephants was also absolutely worth it — the journey through nature was stunning. If we ever come back, we would definitely stay with Abin again. We can warmly recommend this place.
