Beautiful location, clean and modern design with quite a few spaces for yoga, chilling, playing games or even having a dip in the hot tub. The staff were so so kind! They even packed us a lunch for our bus ride (by the way, the food is amazing, especially the dinner. The breakfast is also really good - big selection, fresh and included)

This stay was an absolute highlight of my trip to India. More than just a place to sleep, it was a genuine treat for the soul, especially during the monsoon season. The symphony of sounds at night was incredible, so vibrant I could have sworn the frogs were right beside me! Waking up to a stunning view of staff harvesting fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden for that day's lunch was a beautiful touch. The food was delicious: fresh, vegetarian, and served with a smile. I deeply appreciated their commitment to sustainability, from the glass-bottled filtered water (no plastic in sight!) to their overall ethos. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Their genuine kindness and constant smiles were a clear reflection of a happy and content team. A truly special and conscious place.

We had an amazing stay at Blackcherry Homestay. The host family were so accommodating and really made us feel welcome in their home. The room was nice and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had really delicious meals and enjoyed a cooking class that was very informative - we are looking forward to trying out our new skills when we get home! Would absolutely recommend a stay at Blackcherry with the wonderful hosts Silvy, Babu and their sons!

We really appreciated the warm hospitality and the help we got from Abin and his parents to arrange activities and transports. The homestay was beautifully located in the calm Flower valley, wonderful to listen to all birds singing at sunrise. All beautiful flowers around the homestay. 1/2 hour tuk-tuk ride to Munnar center from which our hiking activities started. Homestay host provided very good dinner for us in the afternoons. We had a nice walk from the homestay through small village up to a view-point close to the homestay.
