Hosts were super friendly, and had excellent communication, gave us a very warm welcome and spent lots of time giving us tourist advice. Coffee, herbal tea and water was provided. Rooms very well equipped. Beautiful terrace that we had access to.

Lucia is a wonderful, friendly, helpful and very kind hostess. She prepares an excellent breakfast with a variety of delicious home-baked goods, which is eaten on a balcony. The kitchenette area offers amenities like wine glasses, corkscrews, cutlery, etc. as well as a coffee machine and kettle. It is a modern, clean, well-lit and recently-renovated facility with very good air conditioning. Comfortable bed, good sheets. Beautiful and functional bathroom. Lovely little balcony in our bedroom. Excellent location, walking distance to the main downtown area. Parking in front of building.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and everything was spotless! Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day, and they even restocked the fridge with water and replaced the soap. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations – without exaggeration.

Very friendly owner, perfectly clean and comfortable room and an individual breakfast even with savoury dishes. What else can you wish for. There is free private parking within the premises and a nice terace outside. I wish I could have stayed longer. The owner gives helpful advice for restaurants a couple of minutes away on foot.

Excellent accommodation that exceeded our expectations, really spacious apartment. The bedroom was comfortable with really good air-conditioning. Everything you need to make a good meal was available with a nice place to sit either inside or outside. Our host Giovanni was so helpful and answered everything really quickly. He also very kindly left us water and wine for our arrival. Giovanni has a fitness centre that he let us use which we really appreciated! Very accommodating host. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you for a great stay.

The most beautiful place we have stayed in. The view from this hotel is just mesmerizing, and it makes up for any shortcomings of the accommodation. It’s truly one of a kind location. Staff and service was extremely nice, very good experience

I came to Rifugio Gorropu for a view and it was a WOW. The place is bigger, than I expected and you do not get to know the owners, so this is more of a big hotel style accommodation. Dining on the terrace with the sunset is love. Place is peaceful and I highly recommend to stay at least for several nights

The building is BEAUTIFUL and so gorgeously restored. The rooms are tastefully decorated and beautifully appointed. The rooftop is STUNNING - offering the most gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding city and mountains. Breakfast is DELICIOUS (especially the cheese cake). STAY HERE instead of anywhere else in Cala Gonone - Dorgali is a gorgeous, and much more authentic town and this accomodation is incredible.

We had one of the most beautiful and authentic stays in Sardegna. Everything was excellent during our stay. The rooms were very clean, authentic but modern in the same time and the host was the nicest person we’ve meet during our holiday. She helped us with all the information regarding experiences around, including booking us a boat tour to Costa di Baunei, sending us all the info that we need, where to park, where to eat. Thank you a lot for a beautiful experience in Dorgali!

This was our most authentic stay during our holiday in Sardinia for the lowest price! The house is old, very well taken care of and decorated with authentic ethnic decorations. Big, nice bathroom, high quality toiletries, fresh towels. There is also an amazing restaurant around the corner.
