Traditional Japanese home with modern upgrades! Very comfortable and amazing view of Mt Fuji (when weather is right) from balcony or from outside the front of the house. Several places to eat food in walking distance. Well equipped for visitors. Would stay there again!

What's there not to like?? The location is just right across the street from Gotemba station! With plenty of good food and transport options right at the doorsteps. Kosuke was a friendly and responsive host throughout the whole experience and his passion and thoughtfulness shows through how he renovated the interior of the building. The space was uniquely rustic and relaxing, with tin cans amplifying the music, film tapes adding accents to the lighting and even doubling as a business card! There were plenty of other special points which I shall not spoil in this review. Apart from the amazing theater, another thoughtful luxury were the heated beds which help alleviated the winter cold.
