Accommodation in Hagi

The self check-in was nice. The room was super clean, common spaces as well. AC worked well, comfy bed. Lots of amenities. The owners are very friendly.

Exceptionally clean! Great atmosphere and location. The owner is very helpful and had helped me a lot when I was lost. The train lines were cancelled due to the weather, he guided me here. Location is near the bus centre so it’s very convenient.

Never been in a hotel like this before. And I liked it. First of all, the staff. They are all very kind. Second, the location. Great views! Funky design. And frankly, there are not many hotels in that area. So we were intrigued by the high rating on Booking.com at such a low price. And we found out the concept is actually quite cool - literally! You can eat whatever you feel like. There is a relatively small buffet of freshly prepared stuff. And then there is a virtually endless supply of frozen food, which you can microwave and/or grill on the spot. To boot, there is a huge selection of (alcoholic) drinks, free of charge too.

The owner is a superb host. Friendly and helpful. Keeps everything very orderly. The location is great at a walkable distance from downtown/nearest station. It is just across the road from a pleasant onsen which accepts day trippers. It means you can add a bit of luxury to your guest house stay. Bicycle rental and luggage storage is at the nearest station. They know Ulala and they were very flexible about extending the standard period to suit my plan.

Feeling Home & Away. The house tastefully design with a modern touch and fully furnished with all needed essential. Check-in needed some IT savvy, iPad was given and need to fill up all individual particulars. Car park conveniently located at the house entrance. Certainly will recommend this lovely house.

The staff were all helpful and polite. They went out of their way to make our stay really special. I asked at short notice if a small celebration cake could be added to the evening meal for my partner's birthday. It was too late to prepare that, but still they presented her with a small gift at the end of the meal, beautifully wrapped, which was so unexpected! The Japanese breakfasts were delicious and each ingredient was introduced and explained. The evening meal was wonderful, one of the best meals this month in Japan. The room with western beds and a japanese room was very comfy and clean and the onsen was perfect for a small hotel. Overall the hotel was so relaxing and we felt welcome, even though we only spoke a little Japanese. The beach in front was idyllic and the ceramic shops were great, having a chance to meet the ceramicists . The best hotel vidit so far! Thank you!

It was simply beautiful and very comfortable. You feel at home in a way hotels just don’t, which is much nicer for a trip like the one we had. Our host was very kind and welcomed us and helped us settle in, he replied very quickly to questions and was very understanding. We will definitely come back if we ever get the chance to.

It’s a large apartment close to the train station and most restaurants. The surroundings are really quiet.

The host was very friendly and open for chatting. Even though we came to Hagi before check in time, we were able to store luggage and check at the convenient time. The place was clean and spacious, we loved the interior design. It was a stay in a temple inn with all the basic amenities provided but naturally limited access to electronics. Besides, we’re glad we’ve tried the art of calligraphy with the host.
