The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. I like the fantastic breakfast and dinner. The free ice cream after the bath and the free sake with cakes in the afternoon. There is also a lot of space to relax out side the room.

Stepping into the house was so cool—there were two good fortune kites on display just beyond the genkan from Izumo Taisha. We had plenty of space to sleep in the bedroom areas, but my husband and I wanted to sleep side by side and the double bed was a bit small. Thankfully, they had little futon mattresses to sleep on.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at RITA Izumo Hirata. The property is managed by a lovely and kind husband and wife team who did everything to make our stay memorable. The included high quality Japanese breakfast was both fresh and delicious. Make sure to take up the Italian dinner option in a local restaurant. It was one of the best meals of our holiday!

The place is really nice. Very new, very clean, his useful guideline and very convenience with modern equipment. The owner is so nice since the first chat and we lost the card. The whole ambience of the location was great, very peaceful, quiet and serene. The breakfast (both Japanese and Western) were delicious, well-presented and satisfying. The cottage that we were in had fantastic views across the mountains and lake and was well equipped. What we also appreciated were the directional signs leading to the cottages which were in English, a refreshing change from all the Japanese signs that we had to decipher. A truly pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Izumo is a sleepy town but deep in history, Inishie no Yado Keiun just made my stay more meaningful in the cultural experience and understanding of the place. The staff are super friendly thou they don’t speak English, they made huge effort to use electronic translator and such to communicate. I really like the place a lot.

Really nice house with a traditional feel. Everything was clean, and you can enjoy a japanese traditional room at a very competitive price. I loved chatting with the other people who were staying there, and everyone seemed to enjoy the relaxing ambience of the place.

By far the best hotel I've stayed in the whole world! Beautiful big bath with sauna, and large room with largest bed I've ever come across! Staff were lovely, too. It's very close to the station, too. I wish we could have stayed there the whole week!
