Accommodation in Kami-ichi

Great location, super close to the entrance of the mountain and a great spot to base yourself from.

This is very good value for money, especially if you are going during cherry blossom season.

It was extremely well equipped- every single thing you may need was provided. It’s very spacious, central and a short walk from the train station. The owners couldn’t have been nicer - so friendly, generous and helpful.

Lovely host, greeted us when we arrived even though we were late due to travel delays. Clean and comfortable room - even given slippers to wear around the rest of the house 😊. Kitchen was also great for the social aspect with others staying, but also very avoidable if you are feeling tired/antisocial etc.

Beautiful views of the hills and forests. We loved the tatami room..vety comfy futons. The host gave excellent advise on places to visit in the region.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. That alone is worth coming here. The front room is so cozy and there is a massage machine. Location wise you can do Yoshino by walk during a day going up and back and you could even choose the quiet path starting north. There is nothing to do see but it is tranquil as you also don't see the hordes of tourists.

Cosy and very quiet area. Host is very accommodative to extend our check out time upon request. We managed to our hike and be back for a shower before we check out.

The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk from the station, drop your bag and start exploring! The private bath time was excellent
