Accommodation in Otsu

A single room with everything you need. There is an ice maker and a microwave near the elevator. From JR Otsu Station to the hotel, I can find the FOODS MARKET where I can grab breakfast before heading out for sightseeing and dinner when I return to the hotel.

The room is spacious and clean. The mattress is good, feel comfortable. Bathroom is big too. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, they do their best to serve us. Really like it.

Big room with a great view of the lake. The in suite balcony was a big plus. Friendly staff that is always eager to assist us.

Good location, clean and convenient!

I had seen the pictures and knew that I was in for an interesting experience, but this really exceeded my expectations!!! This inn is a prodigy of “miniaturism” and you step into a fantasy world. The use of space is ingenious and artistic. Every room is completely different, has its own personality with its dominant color and its own craziness. Personally, I could have done without all the manga plastic figurines but at the same time, it is really fun to plunge into somebody else’s delirium. The staff is super nice and warmhearted. They weren’t there when we left, so this is my way of saying goodbye and thank you for an unforgettable stay in Otsu!

It was very nice. Rooms were extremely spacious. Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Onsen in the adjacent hotel is excellent and worth visiting, for a small fee.

I loved this place. It was so clean and quiet and the manager couldn't have been more helpful . A real pleasure to work with . Transport links into Kyoto were pretty good too with 20-30 trains every few minutes. Kitchen well stocked , washing machine and even provided a free parking space for my scooter. And best of all a lovely , comfy bed .

New home, very well equipped, appreciated the separate women’s toilet and shower, owner was very kind to give us a lift from and to station, and a bonus lift to a nearby temple when we didn’t have much time.

It is really like living in a japanese house. The common room for tea and gathering was excellent. Too bad we arrive late at night.

Calm and beautiful, perfect to avoid the overcrowding of Kyoto while still being pretty close by train.

Such a beautiful place with gorgeous details. Was perfect for a large group. Beds were extremely comfy. Our whole group had a great sleep.
