Accommodations in Taisha

I liked the onsen, comfortable room, and the theme of the hotel.

It’s in front of JR station.

The staff really went the extra mile to tidy up the rooms even though we were aware there would only be an eco-friendly cleaning. They replaced our towels and left things in a very thoughtful way. Having complimentary, really rather decent, coffee waiting for us downstairs each morning was a great perk, and the clean, ambient, and absolutely delightful onsen (with complimentary melon soda ice et al!) was just the cherry on top of a very lovely stay. Not to mention the location being basically inside the station, setting you up in the most convenient way for daytrips and next destinations.

Hotel is old, but big size room and good location

We stayed as a couple, but there were 5 futons laid out nicely and it was very relaxing.

Enough space, nice rooms that feel like home

Right by the water, very comfortable, clean, and spacious.

The ryokan is in a super convenient location just a couple of minutes on foot to the shrine. Large room with plenty of extra space and a simple yet sufficient public hot-spring bath. Breakfast was simple and delicious.

The place is really nice. Very new, very clean, his useful guideline and very convenience with modern equipment. The owner is so nice since the first chat and we lost the card. His response is so generous to us. He optimistically said no worry, it’s your holiday we can find them later, please enjoy🥹. We would like to say thanks million times to him for this good memory in Izumo. It’s so special to us. Thanks again😊🙏
