Brilliantly designed bungalows , really clean and comfortable, lovely staff and fantastic food !!!!

If you are looking for a peaceful and welcoming hidden gem in Kampot, this is the perfect place. Close to the city (about 15–20 minutes by Grab) yet far enough to enjoy complete tranquility, the location is ideal. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by Daro, a kind and caring person who looked after us throughout our entire stay and made sure we had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious bungalow: spotlessly clean, beautifully scented linens, and a real “wow” effect with the bathtub on the large terrace, all set in a warm, natural wooden décor. The property itself is very well maintained, with a professional and attentive team always available to make your stay truly memorable. The restaurant offers vegetarian-friendly options (and the food is absolutely delicious). As for transportation, the hotel can arrange a driver if needed - just as lovely as the rest of the staff. For animal lovers, you may also have the chance to see cows, chickens, and dogs wandering around, adding to the charm. Truly a little paradise, timeless and serene.

If you’re looking for a social place, this is it! They organize lovely evenings and tours. The food is great and the staff is really helpfull.

Location a little bit away from the centre so it was quieter than other places. Good swimming pool, good food, staff are very friendly and accomodating.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Cinema. The hotel is full of character, with beautiful vintage décor and a relaxed atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and offer local recommendations. The location is perfect—easy to walk to the river, restaurants, cafés, and the night market. The breakfast was delicious, we loved the dumpling soup. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend The Old Cinema to anyone visiting Kampot.

What a fantastic discovery Chateau Kampot in Kampot was! Newly opened since early 2026 and truly an amazing place to stay. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with incredible warmth and hospitality. The rooms are brand new, beautifully designed, spotless, and everything is perfectly maintained. The food was absolutely delicious as well, clearly prepared with great care. The swimming pool was another highlight — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Everything here simply comes together perfectly: the service, comfort, food, and overall experience. Without a doubt, this was our best stay in Cambodia and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kampot. A true hidden gem!

The AHHA is the place. Perfect English of staff. Nice and clean and 2 minutes from center town.

The breakfast was perfect. Eggs cooked just how I ordered them. Baguette fresh and warm. Nice fresh fruit salad. Bacon to perfection. I stayed two nights and ate ALL my meals at this restaurant. And a nice cappuccino to top it off.

Nice hotel a bit out of town with great pool and a small gym. Friendly staff all around. Buffet on some mornings otherwise fine selection of a la carte. Free tuk tuk into town. Happy hour from 5-7pm.

Our receptionist was so helpful and arranged a tuk tuk to take us to the port in the morning. Room was absolutely stunning with views from the balcony over Kampot. 10-minutes walk to some lovely places in town. Really nice and plentiful breakfast. Also created a very, very cute display for our anniversary. Brilliant value for money.

The staff are amazing - so sassy and funny, excellent banter. They make excellent cappuccinos too and a really lovely and pretty good value restaurant on site too. Dorms are clean and comfortable.

Quiet, comfortable location, friendly and helpful Staff.

Great owners and staff, secure, comfortable, very clean, very peaceful. Excellent coffee, the best I've had in Cambodia. Hot shower. Comfortable bed. AC and fan, which is perfect because I only want 30 minutes of AC to dry the air a little.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful with any issues or questions had. Facilities were excellent as well as the room. Bit of an issue as there was a function happening around the swimming pool so it couldn't be used for the last hour but the manager gave us the option to move to another residence which did have access to a pool so excellent service.

Location is great and calm ! The owner is very nice and generous, he gave me fruits multiple times !
