This is our second time in Haputale. This time we chose a wonderful modern hotel, not far from the Adisham monastery. For my wife and me, this place is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Beautiful nature around, where you can climb the mountains and walk among the tea plantations. No crowds of tourists like in Ella, you can only see tea pickers and local women with bundles of firewood on their heads. We had a very nice room with a large balcony, huge floor-to-ceiling windows and a fantastic view of the mountains and lakes. The visibility from the window is more than 50 km. There is a table in the room to work on the computer. The hotel offers excellent breakfasts and dinners. The choice of dishes is simply huge, you don’t often see this in most hotels in Sri Lanka. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks to Hashan that everything is perfectly organized and working, for his willingness to help in any situation. The hotel left the best impressions, we will definitely come back again

Amazing view in the middle of the tea plantation. 3 km away from centre of Haputale. Host was really helpful and arranged transportation for us to hike a section of the Pekoe trail. Extra blanket provided for the cooler nights. We had one dinner and one breakfast and both were delicious!

This is really the most beautiful location we have ever stayed in, with truly sensational views. We had a magical 4 day stay and would have very much liked to have stayed longer. The breakfasts were outstanding with freshly baked bread and a wide variety of Sri Lankan dishes with ingredients mostly grown in the garden. Diners were also spectacular. In addition, Michael and Ruwanthi”s warmth, hospitality and advice ensured this was the best part of our 3 week holiday travelling around Sri Lanka.

Owner welcomed me with a cup of tea as I came in very heavy rain. I asked to get a room with good wifi and he gave it to me so I could work while I stayed there. The Internet was very good in that room. I had a very nice hot shower. View from my room and from the balcony was amazing, especially in the morning. Location is very good, very close to everything. Just under the accommodation in the main road is a local restaurant with Rice and curry with good prices.
