We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The place is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos, with a charming and cozy atmosphere. The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, especially when we decided to rent a scooter. His support made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience!

We came straight here after landing in Columbo. We loved the room. It was spacious, clean, and had very good air con. Th bed was massive and very comfortable. We had a lovely view of the garden/farm from our private outside seating area. The older couple who live on site cooked us an amazing traditional Sri Lankan curry - it was delicious and was only 2,400LKR for both of us. Viraj was super helpful and gave us a lift to the hotel a few mins up the road where we were allowed to use the pool (for free) and where we had breakfast overlooking the river. The breakfast is a huge buffet with traditional sri lankan options, continental style foods, as well as waffles and pancakes cooked freshly. This cost us extra (5000LKR for 2 people), however it was worth it as the elephants from the nearby Pinnawala Orphanage come to the river to wash and bathe, and you can see them whilst you eat breakfast - it was amazing!

Photos hardly do this place justice, unlike other places in Sri Lanka i feel it exceeds what you think it would be.Cloud resort was 100% our favorite accommodation and location on our 2 week visit to Sri Lanka. It is the most beautiful location with breathtaking views, our room had a panoramic view of the valley, which we could see from our bed. Sunset and sundown, such a spoil. Our private butler brought meals to our room, we were treated like royalty. We only stayed 2 nights, we were on a tight schedule, but it is the kind of place you should stay a minimum of 5 nights. The mountain walks to whatch the sunset, the pinawala is super close , the old tea factory is amazing, and just finding peace for your soul. The rooms are incredible, every small detail was crafted and curated by the owners ( family), and is such a treat to discover all the attention to detail and thoughtful comforts. Our bed was a highlight, it was a swing suspended from the ceiling, we have never slept so well being gently rocked to dream land. Inthi was an an incredible host, gave us lots of privacy, but always there if we needed anything. He was super helpful with directions, excursions, and just general info and the history of Sri Lanka. I loved meeting him. Butttt all this said...... the food!!!!!! Oh my word is was blown away, up to this point of our travels the food never blew me away....... but I would definitely recommend having all your meals there. It was beautiful, fragrant, and delicious!!!!!!!!! One of our top stays we have ever been to by far. If you are lucky enough to read my review, don't hesitate to book, you will fall in love, like we did

Our first overnight stay in Sri Lanka and it couldn't have been better. Fantastically good home-cooked food with pleasant chats with the family. We learned a lot about Sri Lanka, the food and the culture. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for a perfect start to the adventure. We would love to come back, and then we will stay longer.

Wonderful HomeStay 1,8km from main road (next to well known Rock Garden) very very comfortable, still everything new and modern AC (humidity regulated 👍) big family with ~4 kids and grandparents, breakfast and diner where great home made, 500m down the road the rainforest begins and you can have a little walk, just for hearing this amazing sound of the forest, and for sunset the rock in front of rock garden and in the middle of the rice fields are great, of if you are adventures, you can get down to the river in the jingle (but beware for snakes in grassy or leave covered tracks (I’ve seen cobra and krait ❤️, always take a long stick with you, hitting the ground before you) little shops are arround, and still a bus is going to this place. If you want to visit the elephant orphanage, please be early! After 11:30 the coaches will come. You can go the by a beautiful walk though the landscape within 30 minutes, or grab the bus at main road in 2 minutes.

Amazing Colonial Villa, peace and tranquility. Our stay was like a dream from the first moment we arrived. The building is a hidden gem, in a very peaceful surroundings, with a beautiful plantation behind the villa. The pool and a veranda is a very protected place, surrounded with high trees, birds singing, the place is aery and calm. This is also where the breakfast was served in the morning. We had the choice between English or Sri Lankan breakfast, we tried both, and it was a treat. The crew of the house is very polite and discreet but fulfilling all the wishes one can think of. And every morning a different kinds of flowers waiting for you on the table, personally picked by the owner lady, who is a very kind person and taking good care of the guests. Our room was spacious, the bed big and comfortable, everything high end. We also tried the Ayurveda treatment, and it was very special. It really renewed my body and soul. We only spent 2 days there, and surely it wasn’t enough, so we hope to come back soon. The best experience on our Sri Lanka journey. Words can describe.
