Accommodation in Kandy

Breakfast was impeccable, the choices, the quality and the courtesy of the staff to recommend and help. It was just amazing!! The room was very good too with a nice view as well. Overall, a fantastic stay in Kandy.

Unforgettable stay with great ambience. Enjoyed the picturesque view and true to its name gives a breathtaking view of the whole Kandy city . Friendly staff and good food 💜

The staff was amazing! Very friendly, warm and courteous. Everyone made us feel very welcome. The buffet breakfast and dinner were extremely rich, to the point that it was very hard to decide what to have amidst all of the options available. A special word of appreciation for Chathu whose smile and positive attitude made our stay so much better. There was another lady from guest relations equally warm and nice, but I can't remember her name. I cannot not mention our suite, which was exactly as described but in person so much better: very big, pleasantly decorated and with everything we needed.. The pool, and the view from it was gorgeous. Truly recommend staying there!

Good location, close to the lake and the Temple of the Tooth. There are many monkeys around the hotel. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Excellent historical hotel! You really can feel and see the long tradition all over the hotel. It’s like stepping one hundred years back.

Beautiful hotel, set just above Kandy with amazing views. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Fab breakfast buffet

All staff's behavior are so good that they made our stay exceptionally good.

This holiday was exceåtionally good because of the team work at every level. Mr. Ashiq, the Front Office Manager was exceptional fr many reasons. He brought in his International experience to empower his staff. The reservation was carried out professionally to our entire satisfaction. Food, service and staff were very good. Congratulations to the General Manager and his team.

Amazing overall. Second visit and will return for sure!

I loved everything!! From the start to finish, they served great breakfast. The rooms were amazing, the location. I would love to stay here again! They helped us with everything we needed. Transport to train station etc.

Staff , the chef made our trip with the baby very easy .

I had an absolutely wonderful 2-night stay at this hotel. The location is perfect and very central. The owner and the staff were incredibly genuine and kind-hearted. It was so refreshing to meet people in Sri Lanka who don't just approach you with the motive to sell something. Also, every other hotel we've stayed at so far has been very insistent about us leaving a positive review, but here, they didn't even bring it up. They really made us feel at home, offering complimentary fruit juice, tea, coffee, and snacks every single day. Whenever we had questions, they provided excellent and very helpful information. Highly recommended!

It’s very clean and beautiful with garden

Super nice staff and manager hotel is very nice. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Very big room and very nice and amazing room

Great location with amazing views, much better to stay up here than down in the town. We had a lovely good-sized room with a good bathroom and shower. The manager was very welcoming and helpful and helped to arrange transport for us, also gave us useful advice about shopping and places to see. The restaurant served delicious breakfast and food in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay here - a great choice.

Everything was wonderful ! Especially their service and hospitality!! Janith, the wonderful staff, even gave us voice message to take care of us after we left the place. Now we have a home in Kandy!! I absolutely recommend this accommodation to everyone!!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. Upon entering, you're treated to a stunning view of the lake and the trees. The service from Sandun Fernando was excellent, a very friendly man and kind to the children. The beds were beautifully made, with a new surprise from Chandru every day (see photo). The service at the pool was also very pleasant. Our stay was wonderful, and we definitely recommend the hotel, especially with children.

Location, cleanliness, room, comfort, food

Cool location - it’s on the him side, so no noise. Very relaxing. Pool - very convenient. Breakfast was amazing! Staff very friendly. Recommended!

We booked a top-floor apartment with two bedrooms just for our family, and it felt like a real treat. The private balcony was the highlight — beautiful views over the city and lake, especially early in the morning and late at night. The location is spot on, right in the centre and easy to walk to nearby attractions and restaurants. That said, we ended up dining at the hotel’s own restaurant most of the time — it was that good. The food presentation is world-class, and everything we tried was genuinely delicious. The kids loved it, so we found ourselves going back for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast was also excellent, with a buffet offering a mix of Sri Lankan and European options. Plenty of choices, all fresh and well-prepared. WiFi was fast, and the beds and air conditioning were very comfortable. The staff were professional, friendly, and clearly well trained — always happy to help. Highly recommend this little gem.

Excellent service, the staff was really nice and helpful. Awesome dinner and breakfast. The view from the pool was spectacular.

I like this hotel very much. The room was clean and nice. The host speaks English perfectly and he helped us with many things.

Lovely staff, very nice hotel, unbeatable location by the lake

One of the friendliest and lightning-fast teams I have seen in Sri Lanka. The junior suite is marvelous. The entire hotel premises are like a little heaven. The restaurant has such a calm atmosphere.

The room was clean and comfortable, good food at the cafe, the staff are really friendly

The location is super central, the room is large with a terrace on the top floor. Kind owner.

Management and staff have done a great job on delivering excellent service from check-in to check out, including a full sumptuous breakfast. We will definitely be going back to this hotel on our next visit to Kandy. Centrally located, walking distance to the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy cultural dance, KCC Mall, and the local market. Train station is also less than 10 minutes away.

Very nice view and more comfortable place

Staff were amazing, central city location great. It was clean and comfortable.

Very elegant hotel, very proffesional staff, probably the most professional waiter i have ever seen. Also the hotel is in the centre, with market nearby, also train station, lake, monastery...

The hostel is situated in a great location in the centre of Kandy, everything is very accessible from here. The host is very lovely and helpful :) beds are comfortable. Since the hostel is in the city there is of course some city noise as expected, so bring your earplugs😊 place was clean and provided hot water showers, we decided to stay for an extra night at a discounted price. Thank you 😊
