The room and bathroom was clean, the staff attentive, the breakfast complete and tasty, the views are also quite nice, and honestly the building is super beautiful and modern. They also had everything possible in the minibar and the views from the balcony in the room were amazing. And the beds were super good and comfortable. Honestly a wonderful hotel!

Set amidst lush paddy fields surrounded by lush greens, the property is just 10-minute drive away from the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic. I really liked the welcome they give u, all staff properly trained on guest care, as I arrived Kavisha was very welcoming and throughout my stay she was inquiring n getting feedbacks plus the new wing rooms were super luxurious and has the vibe of a modern hotel! Food was excellent as well!

The staff were extremely friendly and professional they even prepared a special Indian breakfast just for us. That personal touch made our stay even more memorable. I would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kandy.

We stranded in BYLake during the big storm in Nov. 2025. No net, no electricity... Our host did everything to create a safe and harmonic atmosphere amoung all guests. He invited us to a litte homeparty with candles and all other things, that could be found spontanously in the house. I traveled a lot, but such an extraordenary, exceptional hospitality I did not see before. Beside that this is a very nice, quite, central place to stop over

At the homestay, each unit has bed linen and towels. We had a wonderful stay! Hemaka is truly the kindest person in the world – he welcomed us with cake and a mojito, always smiling, helpful, and so polite. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him! The accommodation was excellent – comfortable, with a stunning view, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

Amazing breakfast, big pool with beautiful view, room with air conditioning and mosquito net. You will get the greatest love from the staff, we have never experienced such an attitude anywhere else. They are happy to help you with everything and always have a smile on their face. If we were to stay again near Kandy, I would never choose any other accommodation than Kandy Bird Villas.
