I had spent a few days in the busy city of Kandy and was happy to come here to relax. I loved getting to know the family, who were so welcoming and helpful. I ate both breakfast and dinner there and the food was delicious and plentiful. There is also drinking water, tea and coffee in the shared kitchen so guests could help themselves.

The bathroom and hot shower were also fantastic.

The most outstanding asset of this hotel is its stuffs and their service. Mr. Bathiya and other stuffs were really attentive and helpful. When I asked about the opening hours of the museum before my departure for Sri Lanka, he even took the labour of visiting the museum in person and found out it was open on Sundays. He said the museum did not answer his call. They also advised me to dine not at a fancy and touristy restaurant but at a good restaurant frequented by local people. I could enjoy delicious local food eating among the local people. Also, I accidentally left some medicines in the room when I checked out, and Mr. Bathiya have them delivered to my next accommodation without any charge. This is an incredible show of hospitality. The location is good also. The hotel is in a quiet residential area near the lake and it is only about 10 to 15 minutes to the town centre. The room and linens were of course very clean.
