The hosts were incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to help us arrange a fantastic safari experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the Wi-Fi was not working during our stay. The food on the first night was just okay, but the hosts were quick to adjust the breakfast to our tastes, which we appreciated. Overall, their hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

I loved my stay at Buddika Safari and Resort…the room was so lovely and at such a great price too! It had air con, the bed was very comfy and the shower was hot and powerful, the rooms are very modern! Loved it! Aside from that Buddika and everyone there was SO lovely, so so kind and made me feel at home! Oh and make sure you try the vegetable homemade curry’s, the best I have had in Sri Lanka! The private safari I did with them was done for a very fair price and it was honestly one of the best days of my life! The park is teeming with nature and my guide was excellent, very knowledgable and made the whole experience a lot of fun! If I come back to Udawalawee I would come back here to stay with no doubt in my mind! Thank you 😊❤️

Everything - very clean, well maintained little place with all basic amenities available. The owner's mother is a fantastic cook, we loved the dinner and the packed breakfast provided by them -among the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Mr Gayan also arranged the safari which was quite reasonable and the driver was great too. Location is very near to the forest reserve.

We had a truly unforgettable stay, thanks to the breathtaking Mango Safari Camping and the outstanding dedication of the team. We spent one night at the charming and peaceful campsite and were warmly welcomed. We went to the Elephant Transit Home which was an unforgettable moment in our life where many baby elephants are bottle-fed by humans. The actions and demonstrations done by baby elephants were amazing and somewhat similar to human babies, which was funny to see. We were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan dinner by the bonfire – the food was very delicious. In the morning, we enjoyed a jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park, we could see ample of elephants feeding on grass, deer, water buffalo, and birdlife of the area and the scenery was simply stunning.

This really is a must do. We also did our safari through them which was amazing. We were worried about it being intense but it was very relaxing and our guide was very knowledgeable. The room was great and the bed was very comfy. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast. I don’t know why people don’t book this more, it created the perfect vibe for our safari the next day. Book this place - it’s one of our best stays yet!

I liked everything, this is my best accomodation in Sri Lanka. The room was more than standard, the food was better than in the best restaurants, Kalpani is such a sweet girl, very kind person. They also took me to safari for very good price. I am coming back to this place for sure. Highly recommended!!❤️

Buddika is a very pleasant and attentive host. When we arrived in the evening, he treated us to a sour-sop smoothie, and when we returned from the safari, he offered us refreshing papaya juice. The room is very clean with a view of the park. It's just a couple of minutes to the park, which is very convenient for heading out on safari in the morning. We booked the safari through Buddika, and everything was great. We had a private jeep, and our driver, Udar, spotted animals that we wouldn't have noticed otherwise and told us a lot about the animals and plants.
