Honestly I never write reviews, but this accomodation really stands out. We stopped at this guest house on the road from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. The mountain area is really beautiful (several hiking possibilities), the guest house is in a small mountain village, it was very comfortable and clean. The owner Mr. Abdoul was very hospitable. It was also some of the best food we ate in Morocco (both the dinner and the breakfast). Highly recommended.

The lodge was built as a family home 5 years ago and they started renting out a couple of years ago. So it has a very homey feel. Owner Youssef speaks perfect English and Aziz and Layla were exceptionally attentive. The property has spectacular views and the only wifi in town (though it was a bit weak / spotty). The room was clean, bright, and spacious - the place is very new. Food was plentiful and good. There was no set mealtime - you just let them know when you want to eat. Unfortunately, I got sick and mostly slept for 4 days. But the view from the terrace is gorgeous and I'm sure there would be good hiking in the area.

Very well located at the very end of the valley Good start point to go to lac Izoughar and many other destinations as Taghia, Azurki. A very nice walk is simply to explore the valley from the house, and to make a loop towards the circus, through "gardens ", along fields, seguias and through 2-3 villages. Lhoussaine is a great host with a good mentality and sense for hospitality. He welcomed me with Morrocan tea and helped me to have a good meal after cycling the mountains up from Beni-Mellal.

The place is as advertised. The staff are hospitable and cater to your every need. Highly recommend to try the beef tagine. One of the best tagines ever! The chef is truly amazing. Abdul Ali was very helpful with his tips on the surrounding area and places to visit.
