Accommodation in Mdina

Palazzo Bifora was a beautiful surprise upon arrival. We were made to feel so welcome. Greeted with ice cold Kinnies and given a tour of the hotel once we arrived. The staff were all so lovely and accommodating. The rooms are heaven. The rooftop restaurant and rooftop pool were something to behold. Wonderful atmosphere. If you are visiting Mdina, you must stay here. You won't regret it.

Close to mdina, very nice room and delicious breakfast. Only recommend.

Beautiful hotel done to a very high standard. Comfortable bed with a safe, fridge and toiletries included. The location was fabulous, perfect to get around the island via the local bus service. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them with nice personal touches

Every inch of the space exudes elegance, from the carefully preserved 150-year-old architectural details, including the charming "garigor" staircase, to the incredible collection of original contemporary art—some of which were created by the host herself. The attention to detail is simply unmatched, making this boutique hotel a true hidden gem. A Room That Redefines Five-Star Luxury The moment I opened the door to my room, I was blown away by the level of luxury. The bedding and linens were absolute perfection, soft and crisp, making for an incredibly restful night’s sleep. The pillow menu was a particularly thoughtful touch, ensuring that every guest finds their perfect level of comfort. The room was designed with true five-star indulgence in mind—a fully stocked mini-bar, an impressive wine menu, and a sleek coffee station complete with a high-end coffee machine ensured I had everything I needed at my fingertips. Every little detail had been carefully considered to create an experience that rivals the best five-star hotels in the world. A Breakfast Worth Waking Up For Morning at Howard House Hotel is nothing short of a treat. The warm, inviting atmosphere made breakfast feel like an intimate experience rather than just another hotel meal. The beautifully presented buffet offered a variety of hot and cold savory delights, all fresh and of the highest quality. I particularly loved the made-to-order eggs, prepared exactly to my preference, and the freshly baked croissants, which were warm, flaky, and utterly delicious. It was the perfect way to start the day.

This is an excellent house- one of the best I ever booked in Malta! Not only is the old Palazzo beautifully renovated but the equipment is just excellent! They even have a water filter system so you don’t need to buy water in the plastic bottles…!! Kitchen has everything you need, the bedrooms are spacious, the mess comfortable! We loved this house! Also the owners were always so friendly and supportive, we could leave the luggage before check in. Thank you!

The location is amazing inside the walls of Mdina. It allowed for easy morning or evening stroll through the city without the hustle and bustle of tourists.

Everything was perfect! Our stay was one of the best we've ever had. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I especially liked that we were provided with all the products one can possibly need: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste, cotton buds, even a shaving kit. We were also given water every day, which was also very nice. The location was also great, right in the middle of two attraction-packed cities and a huge bus stop. Sarah was pleasant and very helpful. Thank you so much for everything!

The location is perfect. The room was clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was also very comfortable. The check-in process and all communication with people worked perfectly.

The location was perfect, in the very heart of Rabat, near Mdina and the bus station but still quite and safe. Cafes, restaurants and supermarkets very near. The house itself was tastefully decorated with everything we might need for our stay. Well equiped kitchen, impeccably clean rooms and bathrooms.There was enough space for up to four people and at the same time the layout of the place gave us privacy and personal space, Tonina certainly was a great choice for our stay.

"Il Bekka Suites" is definitely a unique authentic place, built and designed from the heart with love! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt surrounded with a sense of comfort and relaxation that continued throughout my entire stay. This place is beyond amazing; words fail to capture its uniqueness, warm and inviting atmosphere. Starting from the lovely welcoming from Ms.Mili, that was very helpful, recommending the best spots and restaurants,  to the beautiful interior that is decorated with a keen attention to every detail, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, and he explained to me the meaning and the concept of the place, (The place where the woman of the house is comfortable) ..My room was designed in the style of a "Courtyard" , with the tiles, lamp, plants, and canvas.. Each room has a special unique type! The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated with a mix of classic touches Great location with a walking distance to the best historical attractions. I can't get over the magical moment of chilling in the backyard while having my morning coffee! Such a romantic getaway and a peaceful escape, just the right place for creating wonderful memories! Can't wait for my next stay!

Great location for visiting Mdina sites and catacombs in Rabat. Parking very close by.

It is a lovely flat with excellent services in the heart of Rabat and close to Mdina. As well as its truly unbeatable location, the added bonus of this place is the helpfulness of Karl, a host who is always there for his guests.
