Comfortable, Central, and Great Hospitality We wanted an affordable getaway to Isla Mujeres and Candes Apartment hit the mark. Located right in the heart of downtown, it put us close to everything—restaurants, shops, and local spots were all just a short walk away. Even with the central location, we didn’t experience much noise, which was a pleasant surprise. The apartment was clean and well-equipped: we especially appreciated the refrigerator with ice, strong air-conditioning, and consistently hot showers. The hosts went above and beyond—super responsive and friendly, whether we needed more bottled water or had a quick question. If you’re looking for a safe, convenient, and welcoming place to stay downtown without breaking the bank, this is it. We’d happily return!

The host Madjid was very friendly and he was very kind to host our small daughter cause we made a mistake in the reservation. Thanks Madjid! The accommodation is very central, next to Playa Norte and Playa Centro. They cleaned it every day. Thanks!!! I loved that he offered water to refill the bottles. This way there is less plastic so it contributes to having a more sustainable island. I wish all hosts would do this.

The room & patio are very spacious & the kitchenette is well equipped. The fridge is not mini, it’s more mid sized- so great for families traveling with kids in need of readily available snacks & beverages. The host Victor is not only very sweet & attentive- he’s a phenomenal artist! All murals are painted by him & are extraordinary! Great photo ops on property! The plaza is right outside of your patio. I was able to watch as they set up stages & practiced dances for the 175th anniversary party that starts today! Bummed we are headed home- would have a Birds Eye veiw for the festivities! AC works great. My son slept like a baby here. Great place! The entrance is very non discript across from the municipal building. Once you are up & in (passing through 2 doors-added security-plus your room door-so 3 locked points of entery so super safe.)feels secluded, even though you’re right in the hustle bustle of this little beautiful town!

This property is brand new & stunning! My son kept saying “oh mom look- how beautiful!” Super comfortable & well appointed! Host Kitzia was fabulous & responded to needs promptly! We are planning to come back in October to celebrate a birthday & have friends book entire property! Looking forward to this! Beds are so comfy! AC works great! Tiny plunge pool on the roof was serene & relaxing place to enjoy after a Long Beach day! We absolutely loved this property! Can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Casa Ecos d' Alma was a 10/10. Upon arrival, the check in process was very simple, grab your key from the lock box and you are good to go. The apartment is modern, up to date, clean and comfortable. It's a little randomly located, but we felt very safe while staying there. The location is also at a good middle point of the Island, so it was easy to travel either North or South on our golf cart, which I would definitely suggest having one if you are staying at this location. Via Golf Cart, it took us about 15/20 minutes to drive to Playa Notre and about the same to the southern tip of the Island. At night time, we didn't really want to drive our golf cart into town to any of the bars/clubs if we were going to be drinking. With that said, our hosts were very helpful in calling us cabs whenever we needed one, even late at night! If you are looking for a great place to stay on the Island at a GREAT price, stay at Casa Ecos d' Alma.

    The owners kept in contact with me prior to my arrival which was reassuring. They personally met us on arrival and kept in contact throughout our stay. Not only was the accommodation and its location incredible but the owner also recommended places for us to visit and he booked a tour for us and provided transportation. I could not fault this stay at all and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

    Step off the ferry and a few minutes walk will have you at Casa Barco. The accommodation offers spacious and well appointed rooms and use of a common kitchen dining area. The rooftop had a sunbathed plunge pool. The place was spotless, the bed super comfortable and it was an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes. We loved our stay and the fact we did not need to hire a buggy or take taxis anywhere and could walk everywhere we needed to go.

    I loved the details made in the outdoor area. Private beach with a pool, restaurant and comfortable "beds" on it. Many activities for guests to enjoy. The bus stops just outside the accomodation. Would come back here again. Also preferred the beaches on Isla Mujeres from the ones in Tulum, Cancun and Palma - there was seaweed, because the season of it already started, on North and Central beach of Isla Mujeres there was none, so it was another plus to stay in this accomodation.

    Super clean basic accommodations perfect for one person or a couple. 2 min walk to the melacon or downtown, 10 min walk from the ferry or play norte. Pretty quiet day or night. Stairs to access the unit are a bit narrow but nothing so treacherous as other reviews stated. Place was a little hard to find the first time, and didn't pay until 2nd last day which is unusual but perfect stay anyway, good communication and friendly hosts:)
