We were upgraded to a suite which was extremely spacious and comfortable. The receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a modern efficient hotel located in an accessible junction for travelers of the fjords and glaciers. Breakfast is generous.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Forde Pensjonat. Breakfast was exceptional and the manager very friendly and helpful! She went out of her way to suggest interesting sights in a large surrounding area, including writing a list and sharing a map view. The location was great, right off the highway. The rooms had everything we needed for a pleasant overnight stay including comfortable beds, tea and coffee, a lovely lounge and breakfast area, extra items like different pillows, heated bathroom floor, iron and ironing board, etc. Breakfast was tasty and offered at a time to accommodate our needs. We highly recommend this housing option in Forde.

It's a tiny cozy place done up very nicely to give that home feeling. Old style radio, dolls,fireplace, phone all add to the charm. Comfortable bed. Future guests please note- There are many appliances like a microwave,egg boiler, sandwich toaster,electric kettle. Disposable plates glasses and cutlery is available. And the only sink is in the bathroom.Also no counter space. So meals will have to be planned keeping these limitations in mind.

Dating back to the 1860s, this hotel nerby the famous fishing river "Jølstra" is a 5 minutes walk from shoppingcenter`s, theater and good restaurants.

Breakfast was always well stocked and had a variety of options. There was not much diversity of food from day to day, but I actually appreciated that. The food was always good and you knew exactly what you were getting! And the proximity to the city center was great. Easy walk! Staff was very accommodating if I ever my key card deactivated or I had questions about the property, etc.

We took the room that's located just besides the river and it was beautiful to see and hear the water running. The room was spacious, the communal area in the room was nicely designed, comfortable and clean. There was dedicated parking just outside our room. There were many suggestions and options for outdoor activities. Kids facilities were fantastic.

I liked that it had a patio. I liked that i could park right front of the entrance door of the room. It was comfortable too.
