It’s an incredible quiet fishing village with the most amazing host ever!!! Jhondee was so kind that even helped us organise many things at the best rates long after we left his accommodation. Truly kind golf, amazing sunsets just 10secs from your room. Breakfast at your request, pancakes,omelette, or any eggs to your liking with fruits and coffee all included in the price. This quiet little cottage resort was such a peaceful place to stay. The views were picturesque and so many good photo opportunities. Nice beach chairs and hammocks to lay and read a book. We stayed in the family cottage with 2 beds and private bathroom which was a nice luxury. The breakfast was delicious and a very good price. So nice to wake up and enjoy a coffee right on the beach. The sand is so soft and the water was clean and nice to swim in, sometimes it can be really wavy but still fun for a swim. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and made our stay stress free. The massage place out front was really convenient too, they also do manicures and pedicures. Definitely recommend this spot as the best place to stay on bucana beach

I liked everything about this place. The decoration, infrastructure, staff and food are amazing. We felt like we were in a private island. You can do snorkeling, or go to the other side and see the shipwreck. They offer yoga and dance classes. The best part was the food and the staff, I didn't want to leave this beautiful place! Remember to bring cash or have a wise account if you are short of cash they can help you with a transfer. No signal!!

Jenna and Dean are wonderful hosts! They put together an incredible team at the guests’ disposal, which made my stay truly memorable. The location of this hotel, right on the beach and surrounded by a fishermen’s village, is what moved me the most. By staying at this hotel, you are helping the local community. I truly experienced what it is like to live in an isolated village, surrounded by countless children; it was incredible to disconnect and reflect. For nature lovers, the beach is a turtle nesting site; if you are lucky, you may see some at dusk.

A place that I wanted to keep as a secret… this place is just magical ! Located in the middle of a rice field and 3 minutes from my favorite Nacpan beach! The villa is very clean, the garden is amazing, the breakfast was delicious and good quality! And the team, they are the most kindest people I have encountered You need to walk like 2 mins from the main road but the staff will assist you, they even contacted me 3 days before my arrival! Highly recommend this place! Such a beautiful energy

The location and resort area is fabulous and Nacpan beach is one if not the best beach you can see in El Nido. The breakfast is really nice since it offers you the option to order from a menu while also letting you suit yourself from the fruit/toast/egg unlimited buffet. The cocktails were really good, the food was only slightly above average unfortunately. What really stood out for us was the friendliness of the staff. Particularly, Mr Mark Galila is the friendliest and responsive waiter that we've ever encountered during our stay in the Philippines, so props to him. One thing to keep in mind, if you plan to experience El Nido or do island hopping tours I would advise against staying at Angkla, as the transfer between Angkla and El Nido Town is quite expensive and long. During our 2 week stay in El Nido we booked only 4 days at Angkla which was perfect for a retreat and relax, we didn't feel the need to get out of the resort during our stay.
