This place is one of those stays you are glad you took a chance on. A small, family run cosy guest house where the warmth of the owners, staff (and the cat:) is felt straight away, they are lovely people and clearly care about what they do. Yes, it’s a bit off the beaten path and the road getting there is a bit rough and muddy, but that’s part of the charm. Once you arrive, everything makes sense. It’s peaceful, quiet, clean and you feel completely safe and genuinely looked after. The owner also offers airport transfers for a small charge, which made leaving easy and stress free. They run a small restaurant on site and the breakfast was simple but nice. Staying here felt like a real Philippines experience, not something manufactured for tourists. I was hesitant when booking, but I'm glad I did. The rooms are simple and on the smaller side, but you have everything you need, including a smart TV, and the quiet at night is priceless. Great value also. A proper little gem.

We loved this boutique hotel and stayed for 5 nights. The staff are so welcoming and kind and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. It is located 5 minutes walk from the beach, which is perfect. The large balcony/outdoor area outside of the room is a massive bonus. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The room is spotless and was cleaned daily. The shower is hot with good water pressure. We especially liked how breakfast was served to the balcony every morning. It was such a nice treat! The breakfast was consistently delicious. The pool area was always clean and tranquil. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone coming to Port Barton!

Everything, really. The location is magical, closest to paradise. The style used for the construction with natural materials is just amazing. The hive was super spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed, linen and pillows were just from a 5 star hotel. The food is also amazing, adapting to the local products they get each day (they offer breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner). Yes, there is no wifi or signal, but do you need it in paradise? Having an island almost for your self, and in such an environment, is the closest thing to paradise I’ve experienced. Finally the staff need a special mention. They are extremely friendly and polite. We will miss you!

Z Garden Hotel has an excellent location — very close to the center, yet nicely tucked away, which makes it quiet and peaceful. It’s the perfect balance between convenience and relaxation. We would also like to especially thank Remy. When he heard that we were planning to go to Nacpan Beach, he took care of reserving a sunbed for us and arranged access to the swimming pool at the hotel that is part of the same group. This thoughtful gesture made our experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. The staff’s attention to detail and genuine care truly made a difference, and we would happily stay here again.

The accommodation is super central. Everything is easily accessible on foot: the town center, the best coffee shops, and the start of hiking trails. Most activities are a 10–15 minute walk maximum. I did everything on foot (massages, cafés, drawing, etc.), except for the hot springs. Cleanliness and Comfort: My room was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The view is extraordinary, and the food available is also very good. Value: The value for money here is truly excellent. I must admit, I was caught by a double surprise! First, the photos online DO NOT do justice to the quality of this establishment. Thank goodness for the comments, as they truly reflect the reality! The second surprise was the exceptional welcome. The staff is extremely attentive and genuinely caring. As soon as I arrived, they offered me breakfast for the next day and asked about my plans to arrange a driver or provide recommendations. After mentioning it was my birthday, they prepared a beautiful room with a small surprise and even a 'Happy Birthday' video! Truly 5-star service
